Lunch Time

Y/Ns POV -

I wake up to the sound of my alarm. Leaning over to turn it off I grab my phone too. Ugh, it's already time to get up for school? How long did I sleep for?

Turning on my phone I check my notifications. There's a message from Saiki, "I had to go home before your parents came home and saw us. Hope you slept well. See you at school". A smile comes to my face as I remember the night before. I fell asleep in his arms. It must have been the most peaceful sleep I've ever had.

As I stand to get ready there's a little ache in my thighs and I can feel a small sting in between them, not that I mind it. Oh man, I really need a wee though.

Time skip -

Seeing Saiki at school is more embarrassing then I thought. Even when I see the colour pink like his hair I'm reminded of last night. It's even worse when I see him in person it's like I have flashbacks, of course, he always hears what I'm thinking cause he always gives me a little smirk or smile and it makes me flustered.

I have to admit it to myself. I've tried to deny it for almost 13 years of my life. I think I do like him in more ways then just friends, I mean if I didn't why would I not hesitate to kiss him back last night. I definitely wouldn't have gone all the way as we did.

Its the end of the lesson and is now lunch. I look over to Saiki out of habit and see he's caught up with his friends, although he doesn't look very happy about it. He looks over to me and our eyes meet. Nendo seems to notice me too, walks over and throws his arms around my shoulders in his normal friendly way. Saiki's face twists almost like he's in pain and I can practically see the daggers he's shooting at Nendo with his eyes. "Y/N! You'll join me and my best buddy Saiki for lunch right?"

"Uh sure," I say back with a smile.

Walking down the hall with the two of them, Saiki puts his voice in my head. His tone is slightly different. I can tell he wants me to think my replies instead of saying them out loud. "Is your shoulder ok? None of Nendos dumbness rubbed off on you did it?"

"I don't think so, at least I hope not" I reply, laughing to myself a little. "Is that why you were so angry at him? Because he touched me?" I asked him. To be honest it would be kind of nice if that was the case.

"Yes, that's why. You shouldn't let people touch you like that" he says back. I giggle to myself at Saiki being a little too protective. Or jealous. I can't tell which but it was nice to know it was either one.

As we get down to the cafeteria we join the rest of the group. I go down to sit between Saiki and Kaidou. Just as I sit, a force pulls me towards Saiki so we're sat so close the sides of our legs our touching. He looks down at me an annoyed look on his face almost like I should know that I had to sit so close to him. Jokingly, I tilt my head slightly to the side and pout slightly, silently asking for him to forgive me. His annoyed face disappears after a second and he puts his hand on my thigh, tucking one of his fingers under my long sock. Just his touch on my leg makes my heart beat faster and I find myself squeezing my legs together.

After a little while of conversation with everyone at lunch, I find Teruhashi looking at me and Saiki from across the table. I give her a small smile before taking a bite out of my strawberry Mochi I made yesterday.

"How long have you two known each other? You seem too close for just a week at school" She suddenly speaks up and asks me and Saiki. She smiles as she says it but for some reason, it makes me a little nervous and I scoot a little bit away from him. I can tell that the 'too close' was a hint to how were sitting pressed up against each other.

"Oh um, we've known each other since we were about 5. Our mums are friends so we would play together." I replied as confidently as I can. Suddenly a wave of questions come at us from everyone at the table. "What was he like when he was little?" and stuff like that. I answer each one as well as I can with a smile but I can feel Teruhashi's glare on me and Saiki the whole time.

"Teruhashi is kind of scary right now," I think.

"You don't know the half of it" Saiki replies to me. For someone so perfect it's hard to believe she has a dark side but for some reason, I feel like she doesn't like me.

After we've eaten, we stand to go to the classroom. Just as we're all walking another boy with purple hair and a weird headband joins us. "Ah! You're the new girl. My name is Toritsuka Reita, but you can just call me Reita" he says with a big smile. He seems a bit full of himself like he's trying to seem cool to me but he doesn't seem like a bad person.

"I'm Y/N. It's nice to meet you" I say back with a smile. I see a faint blush on his cheeks. Ah, I think Saiki told me about this guy once. "Are you the person that can see ghosts?" I ask, half thinking out loud.

"I am! Do you want to hear about your guardian spirit?" He asks, suddenly excited.

"Of course!" I say. Of all the powers Saiki has, I don't think he can see ghosts. This guy must be super cool.

"Well yours is-"

"Stop being a pervert" Saiki suddenly cuts in and steps in between us. Hm? But he was just telling me about a spirit, right?

"Ahaha. Hi, master" Reita suddenly goes awkward like Saiki caught him doing something bad. And I knew this guy likes Saiki but I think master is a bit weird.

After Saiki pulls me away and we walk back to class he explains to me that he's a massive perverted guy who uses his ability to see ghosts to find out pervy things. He says that Rieta thought I was 'sexy' and decided to come and talk to me, and while I appreciate the compliment, I think I'll keep my distance from him. I still smile at Saiki for explaining it.

Saiki's POV -

I swear if any more of these people look at Y/N I'm going to go crazy. It was bad enough with Nendo just touching her, and then we walked through the corridor and there were dirty thoughts from the boys and even a few girls. And then Reita comes up to her. I'm not having it. I don't like being like this. I feel almost possessive like I have to protect her. What are you doing to me Y/N?

I know this chapter is a little boring but I felt like there had to be at least one normal one before it goes back into smut. It'll get better again I promiseeee
