My Dad Is My Sensei?

Chapter 2

When I wake up the next day, Naruto is shaking me. "What happened?" I ask, and sit up. "You were having a nightmare," he says and wipes my tears. He hugs me, and I hug him back and rest my head on his shoulder. He starts gently rubbing my back and it makes me smile. He starts playing with my short hair, and I yawn. We both pull away and he goes into the bathroom to get dressed. When he comes out, I go in and get changed.

When I'm done changing, I come out of the bathroom and see Jiraiya and Lee with Naruto. I grab my bag and we head down to the lobby to check out. "Are you hungry Y/N? We could stop for some breakfast" Lee says, but I shake my head. "I'm usually not hungry in the morning," I say, and Lee nods. "I'm not that hungry either" Naruto says, and Jiraiya looks at him funny but doesn't say anything. None of us are really hungry right now, so we just hit the road. A little ways away from the town, I start feeling dizzy. Then, out of nowhere, I faint.

When I wake up, I try to move around, but I can't so I look down and see my arms tied to a chair, and I feel like I'm going to throw my guts up. I look around, and I see that I'm in a dimly-lit room with only one door and one widow. I hear men arguing outside the room, but I can't hear what they're saying cause my hearing is too messed up. I hear footsteps coming towards the room, and I lift my head up fully. I see a man with a black cloak with red clouds on it, and has a sword wrapped in something on his back. I look at his face, and it's a shark? A shark man? He bends over so he's looking me in the eye, and laughs.

"See Itachi? She's fine" he says, and another man wearing the same cloak comes in, but he's an actual person. He has black hair, and no weapons unlike the shark man. He reaches out his hand towards my face, and I move it away, afraid of what he's gonna do to me. I hear the shark man stand up, and I close my eyes out of fear and feel the person, Itachi I think his name is? I feel his hand rest on my head and softly pet my head like I'm a dog. I open my left eye to see Itachi smiling softly. "It's alright. I won't let him hurt you" he says, and I slowly relax. "We just have a few questions we want to ask and you can go back to your friends" the shark man says, and I look at him already knowing what he wants.

1 hour later

My nose is bleeding, and it's probably broken. I lay on the floor, covered in my own blood. "Tell me where he is," Itachi says, and I just lay there hoping to drown in my own blood. "I told you. I don't know who you're talking about" I whisper, and he sighs. "Then you leave me no choice" he says, and leaves the room. I lay there and close my eyes, and try to get up, but I can't. I guess my body took too much from getting beat up. I hear the door open, but I'm too bent out of shape to care to look up. The last thing I see before my eyes close is two pairs of feet.

When I wake up, I see a girl with pink hair standing over me, and she smiles. "Glad to see you're finally awake. Would you like anything to drink before I discharge you?" I look at her confused, and she just puts a glass of water on the side table and walks out. I sit up, and I rub my head. It's pounding after the beating I took from that guy. I grab the glass of water from the side table, and take a sip, when I hear footsteps quickly approaching my door, when it swings open and Naruto and Lee try to fit through the door at the same time, which makes me giggle. When they finally get through the door, they sit next to my bed and Naruto starts asking me a bunch of questions, when the girl with the pink hair comes back in and hits him over the head with a clipboard. "Calm down Naruto, she just woke up. Give her space to breathe" she says, and Lee gently hugs me. "I am glad you are okay my darling" he says, and I giggle.

When I leave the hospital, I decide to try and find where the hokage is, when I bump into a guy with his leaf headband over his left eye, and I drop a book I bought at the special book store I went to earlier, and we just look at each other in shock. He glances at my book, and then back at me. "You-you read the make out paradise books?" he asks me, and I look at him like he's crazy. "It's only the best series ever" I say and he picks up my book for me and dusts it off and gives it to me. "See you around" he says, and I take my book and we go our separate ways. I ask around, and everyone says I'll get to the hokage's mansion if I go right then left and keep going that way, so that's what I do. When I get there, a woman with a small pink pig is waiting outside, and she walks up to me. "Are you Y/N L/N?" she asks, and I nod.

She leads me inside, and leads me to the hokage's office. We go in, and I bow to her out of respect to her, and stand up and we start to talk about how I've been the past few years. I tell her how I've been, and she assigns me to a team and gives me my headband. "You start next monday so be settled in by then" she says, and I nod. The woman with the pig leads me out of the office, making small talk on the way. "My name is Shizune by the way," she says, shaking my hand. Just then, a boy with pineapple-shaped hair comes walking towards us mumbling on about how much of a drag this is, and he bumps into me, knocking me over. He's lucky I didn't wake up and choose violence today or I would beat his ass right here in this hallway.

He just keeps walking like nothing happened and like he didn't just knock me over. "Are you alright?" Shizune asks, and I nod and get up. I brush the dirt off of me, and continue walking with Shizune. "I'm really sorry about that, he's usually not like this" she says, and I smile in reassurance. "It's alright. We all have one of those days" I say, making Shizune giggle a little. Then, I realize I don't have a place to stay. "Don't worry. We've arranged for you to stay with the Hyuga family" she says, and I nod. We walk out and see Neji and Hinata, at least that's what I was told their names are.

"Hinata, Neji, this is Y/N, she'll be living with you two untl her training here is done," Shizune says, and we all bow to each other. They lead me to their home compound, and Hinata leads me to my room while Neji goes off and does whatever. I go to my room and pull my phone out of my bag, cause I usually don't have pockets. I open my messages, and look at who texted me while I was on my way here. I lay on the bed and plug in my headphones and listen to music while I reply to people. I come across a number I don't recognize. 'Hey Y/N. It's Tsunade, the Hokage. I'll message you directly with the location of where you're going to meet your new sensei and your new team. You'll be meeting your sensei separate from your team so he can get a sense of what you're like and how to better understand your jutsu and make the stronger' I saved her contact name as 'Lady Tsunade' and replied, Alright. Do you know when I'll be meeting my new sensei?' to which she replied, 'Tomorrow morning at around 10 am, so get there at about 9:45 at the training grounds. Hinata will show you the way' she replies, and I lock my phone and start to wonder about what my new sensei will be like. 'Surely he's a skilled swordsman, right?' I think to myself as I hear a knock on my door.

I take out one of my earbuds. "Come in" I say, and Neji walks in. "Dinner is ready," he says, and leaves. 'Alright then. Wonder what his problem is' I think to myself, and put on a long sleeve shirt and sweatpants and head out of my room. I go into the living space and see Hinata sitting on the couch watching tv. I sit next to her, and she can tell what's on my mind. "Don't mind my cousin. His people skills aren't very good, especially with people from another village" she says trying to reassure me.

I smile and nod, signaling that I understand. The both of us head into the dining area, and wait for our food to be set. We make small talk as we eat and Neji still hasn't shown up, and we start getting worried, but think nothing of it. She asks about life in the Hidden Sand, and I tell her all about my childhood with Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro. We finish eating, and I go to my room and get my toothbrush and toothpaste and go into the bathroom connected to my room and brush my teeth. When I'm done, I change into comfortable clothes and plug in my phone on the nightstand next to my bed and lay down. I put my headphones back in, and close my eyes, listening to Harry Styles as I sleep. In the middle of the night, I feel the bed dip behind me and I sit up a little, but whoever is there rubs my back, and I fall back asleep.
