Odd Surprise · Pt. 5

Y/n's POV
After the nightmare I had last night and the way I woke up panicking my parents made me stay home. I told them I'd be fine but they told me to at least stay home for a day.

I agreed to stay home for a day, but that one day turned into 3 days. I haven't been able to get much sleep because I'm scared of having another nightmare. Because of this I haven't really been able to focus on anything. My parents called my school and told them I'd be staying home til I'm able to get enough rest. No point in going to school if I'm not able to really do anything.

I also had to text Hanako and tell her I wasn't coming otherwise she'd be worried.

I couldn't stop thinking about the last nightmare. The first one didn't bother me much, but the second terrified me. I don't know what those things were. I don't know how they just started dying. And I don't know who the third figure was.

What bothered me the most was seeing Aiko, my cousin, and Amaya's bodies in my dreams. After Aiko died I wasn't allowed to see her. I also just found out yesterday that Amaya died and never saw her body either. So I don't know how I saw their bodies in my nightmare when I never even saw them in real life.

I went to the kitchen to get another cup of coffee. I've been drinking coffee and monster a lot the past few days. I know I shouldn't but it's helped a little.

My parents haven't been home much like they used to either. Apparently both working overtime because of some troubles at work. I don't mind much though. I like having the house to myself for a bit. Plus if they were here they'd be trying to force me to get some sleep, and I really don't want that right now.

After I finished the coffee I put the stuff away then went to take a shower. It was a long, needed shower.

After I got out there was a knock on the front door.
Fuck. Wrong timing.

I quickly dried off and got dressed as fast as I could not wanting to leave whoever was at the door waiting for too long. I rushed out of the bathroom and opened the door to see Fushiguro.
"Uh hi, what are you doing here??" I asked. Honestly I'm not sure how he got my address but with the lack of sleep it just slipped my mind.

"I just came by to tell you something.." He said not making eye contact. "What is it?" I asked. "Oh by the way Gojou told me you guys had a research project at the Juvenile detention center, how did that go?" I asked. He looked confused for some reason. "Research project?" He mumbled.

"Rightt about that... There was an uh- "accident"..." He said. "What do you mean?" He hesitated before answering me.

"Something happened while we were there and Itadori died... I just figured I'd let you know" he said.
I was shocked. I barely knew him sure, but it still upset me. He seemed really nice and cheerful. He didn't deserve that..
"O-oh.." "Yeah.. Well I should get going now. I have someone else I need to go speak to... Sorry" "no no it's ok, uh.. bye." I said as he walked away.

Once he was gone I closed the door. I didn't know what to do as I stood there not moving for about 5 minutes at least.
This is all too much...

I sighed and began to make my way back to my room. I laid down and was about to give in to my sleepiness til I heard another knock. However this time on my bedroom window instead of the front door. My eyes shot open as I sat up and looked towards my window.

I thought the lack of sleep was causing me to see things til he knocked again and all I could do was stare in shock. He smiled and waved which broke me out of my shock and I rushed to open the window. I'm not sure how he got up there but I don't think I want to know.
