There were some loud noises coming from the hallway waking me up. If this continues all week I won't be able to even stand on Christmas eve. I let out a frustrated sigh before opening my eyes sitting up. My room was pitch black except from a little bit of moonlight coming from my window. I looked at my door...."My door!" I said out loud releasing there was a door again. I quickly got out of bed turning on one of the lights and placed my hand on the doorknob pulling. Nothing happened, so I decided to push and it worked only a loud bang was heard in the process.

"That's why you wear a helmet..."

On the other side of my door was Erza, wearing construction clothes for some reason. She was fixing her helmet, which I had probably hit. "You put it in the wrong way....it's supposed to open into my room." She stepped aside allowing me to fully open the door. "Wearing that doesn't make you a handy woman" I laughed seeing the clothing more clear thanks to my light.

Erza just crossed her arms over her chest, reequiping in her casual clothes. "Well that's how my door opens." I knew she had broken the boys that had sneaked in their faces on her door before. So if she fixed her own door, of course it would open the same way. "Also are you ready to go to the guild?" At her question I immediately turned to look outside, there wasn't even a sign of the sun.

"Why do we have to go to the guild this early? There will be no one there yet!" It had to be 4am, if not earlier. The first to get there would be Mira, but that's at 8am! "There isn't gonna be a special quest there just for early birds." I added.

"We are going to bake Christmas cookies for everyone." My jaw hit the floor after hearing that. Christmas cookies, in the morning, for over 700 members....That's impossible to even start on.

Erza was already walking down the hall, confident that I would join. "Hey wait up! I can't requip into my clothes, I need to change!" I whisper shouted through the hall. She just shrugged and continued to walk to the stairs. I decided to run back in grab to some clothes as well as the present for Gajeel and back after her. After putting on my jacket and one boot I was jumping on one leg through the snow trying to put the other one on.

There was a thick layer of fresh snow covering Magnolia since it had snowed all night. I shuffled a bit through the snow making a clear path near the door, but then continued walking. There was no one outside and the only lights were those from bakeries, as bakers were working hard so that they were done when opening. The sky was clear from any clouds and filled with stars and a bright full moon, there was smoke coming from some chimneys making it a beautiful view as I looked over the city.

We arrived at the guild and I noticed it was decorated, I had left early yesterday so it was the first time I saw it. They had covered the ledges of the roof with little Christmas lights and our guild logo was a Santa hat. Erza unlocked the door as we walked in, turning the lights on showing that it was also decorated on the inside. "They really did a great job." I admitted, seeing the giant Christmas tree near our fireplace. The bar was decorated with red socks and Christmas garlands.

"Yeah, hopefully our parade will look just as amazing." Erza had closed the door after pushing the snow that got in with us back outside. "How are they looking so far?" She had missed a big part of it so it only made sense for her, being in charge, to ask such an important question.

"Gray his wagon is completely finished and looking awesome. The others should be finished today and we will work only little details tomorrow. Everything will be done in time for the parade, so no worries." I quickly got to one of the back rooms changing into something more casual than my pajamas before returning to the kitchen. Erza is a pretty good cook so this should be easy, last time I baked with someone was with Juvia. That didn't end well...
