The room I saw when the transport was done, was the same one that I was now familiar with, except for two glaring facts. One was that there were multiple people which was bad enough. But the second fact was as soon as they noticed my presence all of them started whispering to each other. This wasn't good considering that I had a feeling that we would be working together, and if they wouldn't work with me, we might be doomed to death. At least they would. I walked around seemingly aimlessly, but in reality I was gauging whether I could work with them or if I would have to hide and wait for them all to be severely weakened in order for me to finish them. It wasn't promising. They were all split into their own little groups of two or three. I decided it would be best to go on my own and wait until they were all worn out. One of the men accosted me as intimidatingly as he could, it was almost comical. As he walked up to me I took a moment to notice where he could easily be struck down from and was almost surprised to find that I could take him down in at least twenty different ways, almost. "Well look at the noobie" he said loud enough for everyone to hear. "Wonder how fast he is gonna go down" he continued looking at me bringing his face close enough for me to smell his breath. It was disgusting, probably as much as his fighting style. "You gonna do anything, or are you gonna just stand there like a wimp".
I slowly closed my eyes and sighed crossing my arms. "At least the last guy had the decency to die quietly". The rest started to form a circle around us, doubtless expecting a fight.
"What did you say to me boy"! I heard him say "Listen boy, I won't hesitate to kill you. In fact I will enjoy it. Unless you want to concede and bow before me while we're ahead".
I sighed "I'm too bored to even teach you a lesson. Plus the battle is starting and I would like to get to it as fast as possible. Anything to get me away from this breath". I walked away towards the now opening doors. However just before I exited the training area the man charged at me. His hands going towards my throat. Expecting this I grabbed one of his hands and threw him to the ground with such force that he slid halfway across the arena. I smiled as I walked out pulling out my knife. The crowd cheered as I did so and the other team stopped. Little did I know that it was because of my eyes, which were now blood red and the pupils had become slits. Much like a dragon's. The man scrambled to his feet, without success, scared out of his mind. I licked my lips with a now forked tongue. "Any last words" I said in a strangely demonic voice. He didn't even get a sound out before the tip of my knife was found in his now bloody chest. "Who's next" I called out. Then one by one I slaughtered them. Systematically destroying their team. No mercy for any of them. Many tried to fight back but it was futile, they should have just given up. When I was done and walked back to the training area when I was immediately brought back.
As soon as I got back I was brought to my knees and chained. I looked at Molly finally calming down and she was standing stiff. Her eyes dark and her expression stone cold. She pulled out a small circle and levitated it in front of her. I looked at it and noticed that it was in fact a small medallion, about the size of a quarter. It had a design of a dragon on it. It seemed trapped to me. "I am sorry that it came down to this. I really thought that you could be controlled through other means". Her voice was sad, almost depressing. I also got the feeling that she wasn't talking to me directly. I looked around and saw no one in the room. I looked back at Molly trying to figure out why this was happening. Death was common in the arena so that couldn't be it. Was it about why she was worried about me after that demon broke in and tried to find me? I looked into her eyes searching for an answer and getting none. I suddenly felt very weak kneeling there. Then out of nowhere something inside me resisted the chains, a power that was so strong I was surprised. As that force struggled against the chains, the medallion started getting closer. As it got closer the force struggled harder, it got closer and closer and the force struggled harder and harder until it got to the point where I wondered how the chains hadn't broken. Just as it got to my neck a chain started to form. As it closed around my neck the power inside started to yield and eventually subsided and I felt myself fall limp as it stopped its closing and it too fell down do dangle around my neck. I looked up just in time to see Molly collapse onto the bed and the chains disappeared as she did so. My last thought I had before I felt myself slipping into the darkness of sleep, was asking what that strange force was.
