I started by walking towards him, I don't know why, but I felt like it, so screw the logic against that. Then I noticed he was walking towards me too, we stopped about halfway from each other. I noticed that his eyes were a bright shade of yellow and he was looking me up and down, as if measuring me up. The crowd fell silent, and then we charged. Then out of nowhere his eyes turned purple and as we clashed, and the crowd erupted into a chorus of cheering. I suddenly felt myself become more exhilarated as we fought. He was changing eye colors at random and dodging my attacks, and I was blocking his. It was a fantastic experience. We separated and I saw his eyes turn green. For some reason instinct told me to attack at this time, so I did. I got one good blow on his stomach with a charged fist and the whole arena flashed with a brilliant pure white light and when it cleared, the boy was lying on the ground knocked out cold and when I looked up to see Molly smiling and the crowd on their feet cheering, I knew that I was never going to leave this place.

Then the boy woke up. Seemingly out of nowhere. My blow should have knocked him out for at least a few hours but nope, just hopped up and walked over, shook my hand, and conceded the match, the only words he said to me were; "Nice shot." and walked away towards the door he came from. I stared at him, why was he here, why was he one of the fighters? None of it made sense. So I went back to where I came from. When I wasn't transported anywhere, I decided to do a little exploring. I found a hallway that exited the room, and followed it to what seemed like a common room. There was a couch surrounding a game/card table, there was a bar with a few stools and fully stocked shelves, a row of different snack and candy dispensers, and there were some games like billiards and foosball. On the couch, the boy I had just fought sat there, his eyes a dark shade of blue, staring at nothing. I went over and sat across from him. He looked up at me and said something I wouldn't expect him to say, "Your eyes are white, why is that?" I sat there wondering what he was talking about. Then I went and checked in the mirror and sure enough, my eyes were pure white with a silver outline.

"I'm not sure," I said, very confused "it must have something to do with whatever the white that I seem to use is". I tried lighting up my hands not knowing what would happen when all of the sudden, they turned bright white in that same wispy fire from last time. The boy walked over to me and stared in fascination at my hands. He tried touching them but I stopped him reminding him that I didn't know what I could do and they were obviously dangerous. So he backed away. Then I realized that I didn't know how to stop it and I started mentally freaking out. So I started experimenting and thankfully they went out. But I kept wondering how this came about, how did I get this? When did I get this? What is the full extent of this? I decided that it was too much for me right now and that I would ask Molly when I got back. Then I wondered why I was being treated like this by the owner of this arena who didn't care if others lived or died, so why was she so focused on keeping me alive and letting me be in her quarters. Unless of course she planned on sending me down where all of the other fighters were.

Suddenly the boy asked; "What faction are you in?"

Not knowing what he was talking about I responded; "What are factions, is that what your mark on your arm means?"

The boy was taken aback, he obviously thought that I would know about these so-called factions. Nevertheless he responded with "Yeah it's what the mark on my arm means, there are four factions. The Black Dragon faction, which is the one I am in, The blue Salamanders faction, The Green Rat faction, and The Red Skull faction. The portion of the full mark that you get determines your status, and what do you mean what factions, you know what let me check your arm and chest, it has got to be there somewhere". So he checked my arm and there was nothing there, then he checked my chest and his mouth dropped to the ground. "Well no wonder you wiped the floor with me". I stared at him confused, then I remembered what was on my chest.

"So I really am the only one" I said

Then the white that brought me to the room started appearing. "Listen" he said a little fast. He must know what was happening right now; "I will talk to you tomorrow, just don't die". Then the white engulfed me and I was transported. Then as soon as it appeared the white was gone and I was once again in the room I woke up in.

Molly was there, sitting at the back of the bed, reading a book. I couldn't tell what she was reading, but it looked like something I didn't want to know. She finished her page, closed the book, and put it in a drawer and did something to it to make it lock. She looked up at me and I suddenly felt a rush of pride. I had just won my first fight and everybody loved it. How could I not feel proud of that. Molly must have noticed my elation because she yet again, smiled. I noticed that she smiled a lot and it was kind of weird. But for now it didn't matter, I had won and I was ready for my next fight. But something in her face told me I wouldn't be doing that. "How did it go" she asked, something in her tone told me that she was worried about something.

I shrugged; "Fine, why do you sound like you are worried about something. Was it something that I did?" She seemed taken aback. She must've not realized that I would notice the slight change in her voice since last time we talked. That was strange, she seemed like the person who would take that in stride. Then again she was the kind of person that wouldn't show any worry in her voice.

"No no no!" she responded, a little hastily "It was just you seemed a little too comfortable with taking out a kid and being just fine with it. I guess I was a little surprised how readily you accepted your situation, considering what happened yesterday." This threw me off a little. Wouldn't she be happy that I accepted my situation? This woman was getting more and more confusing and I was tired. Molly must have noticed this because she asked; "You want to go to bed?" and suddenly I felt myself wanting to just lie down and go to sleep. My eyes felt tired and so did my body. My legs felt weak and I started swaying, trying to keep my balance. I hobbled on over to the bed, my legs starting to fail me. Just when I reached the bed, I collapsed onto it, not sure why I was feeling so suddenly tired. Then I remembered how she controlled me earlier when she ordered me to stay lying down. Then with a shock of a thousand volts of electricity, I realized that she could control me whenever she wanted to. And all the horrible thoughts of earlier about slavery and her controlling others came rushing back to me. I then felt very uncomfortable next to this woman.

I wanted to leave. I wanted to get up and walk out and leave this room. But I knew I couldn't. She could control me. If I tried to leave she would just order me back, or worse. She could have me killed. And even if I could leave I didn't know where this place was relative to the rest of the world. For all I knew I could be in the middle of space, or on the top of a huge cliff. Either way it would be foolish to try and escape. I guess I will just have to go along and see what happens. Plus it's not like I hate this place, on the contrary. I wouldn't want to leave if I could. I got everything I could ever want.
