Part seventeen

Wednesday.
You got home from school to find your dogs chilling on your bed.
You started on your homework.

Time skip

It was time to make dinner so you started to make chicken ramen.
Ring
Mina
The caller ID said.
You answered.
"Y/n!" Mina said very excited.
"What is it?" you asked.
"Do Bakugou call you last night?"
"Yes?" you were very confused.
She squealed.
"What?" you didn't know why she was so excited.
"Iida said that he was on the phone right before dinner then Bakugou yelled at him for interrupting his very important phone call" she put emphasis on important. But why?
"So?"
"He was on a phone call with you and said it was important, are you connecting the dots yet?" she said like an older sibling explaining why the younger sibling wants McDonald's(yes I made the reference).
"So? We're friends, I guess"
"Ugh, you're hopeless" she said.
"Oh!" you said excited to tell your friend the good news.
"What?"
"Is Kiri there?" you wanted to tell them both at the same time.
"No, hold on" she said before she was silent for awhile.
"He's coming"
There was a sound of a door open and close from her side.
"Mina what's the emergency?" you heard Kiri asked.
"Y/n wants to tell us something" she said.
"What is it?" he asked.
"You both remember Sabashton, my brother, right?" you asked.
"Yeah?" they said, not really in unison, Mina started it first.
"He's coming back in two weeks!" you said very excited.
You got the news yesterday.
"Really?!" Mina said matching your excitement.
"Cool" Kiri said, with a less enthusiasm than you and Mina.
"Cool? COOL? It's good Kiri!" you explained to your friend.
"Ok, I'm gonna go eat while you two ladies chit chat" Kiri said.
"Pardon? Now when have you've been afraid to 'chit chat' with us?" Mina asked, obviously offended.
"I'm not, I'm hungry, and dinner is ready" you could her his grin at the first part, then he most likely had his explaining face on at the second.
"Who cooked?" Mina asked.
"I think... Bakugou? I dunno" he answered.
"Oh, ok, sorry y/n, gotta go, if you've tasted his food, you'd know" Mina assured you, well, tried to.
"It's fine, people got to eat, bye"
"Byeeee" Mina said, probably waving her hand violently.
"See ya" Kiri said.
Then you hung up.
"Sabashton is going to be home in two weeks" you told yourself.
But little did you know, you wouldn't be able to see him in two weeks.
