he's super busy and they don't get to see each other much but she notices he's feeling stressed and cheers him up.

2nd pov:
"hey baby!"
he picks up the phone and immediately hears her bright voice shining through.
"what's up? you never call" his eyebrows furrow and although she sounds fine his mind starts to worry.
did she get hurt? is she breaking up with me? no, idiot she just called you baby. i love it when she does that- "are you at home?"
"yes.. why are you asking?" he was very skeptical. maybe she was breaking up with him- oh no.
"I'm coming over." cheese and rice he really was about to get broken up with. he ran a hand through his tangled hair; he hadn't even showered yet! how was he supposed to get dumped with dignity if he was still in his pajamas!
"may i ask why?" on the inside he was freaking out, but that didn't mean he couldn't be controlled on the outside.
"absolutely not" she giggled. "it's a surprise! i'll see you later baby" and she hung up.
too hung up on her giggle, he was startled by the beeping of his phone once she ended the call. as soon as it broke him out of his daze, he immediately ran around his room; grabbing things up off the ground and throwing trash into his bin.meanwhile...
she was humming along to a song on the radio while pulling the last of the cookies out of the oven. they were peanut butter chocolate chip, his favorite. she was lucky too, they were the easiest to make.
she put a few of his favorite snacks into her bag along with the cookies that had already cooled and went upstairs to grab her coat and gloves.
she finally pulled on her shoes and zipped up her coat, saying bye to her dogs once she headed out the door. once she had locked it, she turned around to greet the day. oh it was a beautiful day; it was chilly, as winter always was, but it was also bright and sunny. there was not a cloud in the sky and the air smelled of the oncoming spring. she skipped down the street with her goody bag, still humming the song from the radio.
it is so wonderful outside, i should leave my house more often. she giggled out loud. she was a very giggly person if you can't tell.
as she neared his house her heart sped up. they hadn't spent any time together lately and she missed him terribly. her mind had been so distracted thinking about him lately she made up her mind and decided to visit. he was so busy and she could tell he was getting overwhelmed so she was killing two birds with one stone.she climbed the uneven steps and rang the doorbell; immediately barking was heard throughout the house. he had dogs too.
the door opened to a distressed boyfriend. his eyebrows were furrowed together with worry and his cheeks were flushed pink. was he just working out?
"surprise!!" she exclaimed, her expression similar to a preschooler's, and handed him the bag.
his eyebrows furrowed deeper, but this time with confusion.
he let her inside and asked, "what's this-" he stumbled over his words, he shouldn't call her babe.
"is this why you came over?" opening the bag he found lots of food, and upon further inspection it was all his favorite snacks! and cookies!
"baby! why'd you do all this?" he was automatically cheered up, but still a little skeptical. is she letting me down gently?
she was practically bouncing in excitement. a wide smile stretched across her face.
"i wanted to make you feel better. you seem stressed whenever we talk, and i wanted to see you. i missed you so much!"
he grinned and let out a chuckle, she jumped into his arms and was immediately swallowed in a hug. they stood in that doorway for what felt like hours, but was only minutes, just enjoying the embrace of their lover. once she pulled away she gave him a deep kiss filled with love. god she loved him. he kissed back with just as much fervor. after a minute they pulled away to breathe.
as he rested his forehead against hers all of his worries melted away. she gave him a soft smile, a chaste kiss, and pulled away to lead him further into the house.
they spent the rest of the day together. it was perfect.
