I walked up to the front and seen West was here with flowers. I rolled my eyes and remembered I had to be professional since I was at work. "what.." I said keeping a straight face.
"You look good." He said making me roll my eyes.
"What?" I said once again waiting for him to get to the point.
He bit his lip, "I'm sorry Spiritual. I really am."
"You could've sent that on text." I said laughing shaking my head.
"Here?" He asked handing me the flowers. "I was wondering if we could talk to-"
I shook my head, "Look...I'm not putting my heart through that anymore. So no we don't have anything to talk about. You don't gotta worry about me no more, and I don't have to worry about you. Keep doing you West."
"Spiritual please."
"No West!" I exclaimed pulling him off to the side as I realized Diamond was listening. "What you gone tell me some sob ass story about how you're not ready because you're terrified of love. Yeah I fell for that once, you're not ready because you're not man enough for that shit. Keep fucking ya hoes bruh, you're fine."
His face fell as he stared into my eyes. He was tryna pull me in with those eyes but I just looked away, "Why would you pull this bullshit at my job?" I asked as my voice cracked. "Just give me your key so we can go our separate ways."
"Damn we can't be friends?"
"Nah we can't, that's how all this started." I shook my head. "I regret even giving you my time. You wasted my fucking time. Just give me ya key."
He pulled his landyard out and started taking my key off and gave it too me, i snatched it out his hand and threw the flowers he gave me in the trash. "Take care West."
"Spiritual!" He yelled as I walked away shaking my head. "Please!"
I shook my head and rushed to our locker room. I soon broke down uncontrollable. I ain't even the type to cry over a boy, but me and West just had a bond, I couldn't explain. I heard somebody walk in so I just wiped my tears away and opened my locker.
"So.." I heard Diamond say making me shake my head.
"I ain't in the mood Diamond, I will really smack you today." I said putting the key in my purse.
She laughed, "I ain't come here for all that." She said making me raise one eyebrow. "I just never seen him care about a girl like that before. I mean you see how he treated me."
I shrugged, "Doesn't matter. If you tryna come in here to tell me not to give up on him, kiss my ass."
She laughed, "Spiritual I'm not tryna argue with you. All I'm saying is take your break, you're heartbroken trust me I understand. But don't give up on him, everybody deserves love even West and y'all have a great bond."
