Lyra's pov
Me and my brother Elliot where sitting on the bus on our way to gravity Falls we haven't been back in two years can you believe it. So here's the backstory of us transitioning me and Elliot have always knew we where different we could tell we where born well different in the wrong body so one day I went up to mom and dad and came out as a girl and wanted to be called Lyra. Mom and dad immediately accepted me and I was soooooo happy then Elliot soon came out and the same thing happened Elliot got top surgery and his hair cut short I got breast implants (oml that sounded weird to me- I don't judge here) and grew my hair out to be long. When me and Elliot where talking about our preferred names Elliot wanted to go with waddles to match his pig and yes waddles is still alive... Surprisingly- anyway I convinced him not to and we found Elliot and he chose that one and I loved it!
Now for me I had been looking online for names while Elliot brainstormed we kept saying weird names till Ell said Lilly and I saw Lauren we said both the names at the same time and somehow got Lyra and we both agreed it was the perfect name for me and it was the best. now back to where we are now in present time I saw the sign that showed we where in gravity Falls I could feel the nervous smile start to form man was I scared Elliot was asleep with his head on my shoulder he looked so peaceful and I didn't want to wake him from his slumber but I needed to so I shook him... Violently
Elliot's pov
I felt myself being shaken awake and I slowly open my eyes to see Lyra shaking me awake I sat up and stretched accidentally hitting her "I'm so sorry!" I laughed out "it's fineeeee but I get to hit you back" She said as she smacked the back of my head and we had a good laugh for a bit. Soon it was our stop we got off the bus a huge smile formed we where back! "Can you believe it Lyra where finally back!!" I looks at my sister but she wasn't smiling she was scared "Lyra?" She looks at me "how are people going to react when we tell them..?" Then it hit me but I took deep breaths and put on a smile. "It's alright!! We can do this we will stick with each other and defend each other" I took her hand and set waddles down who ran to the shack and we began walking there I squeezed her hand for comfort knowing she needs it we walked inside and we saw soos "soos!!" I said and hugged him happily he looks down "oh hey Dipper!" 'Dipper?' I thought for a second then realized ooooooooooohhhhh "uh actually soos we need to tell you something alone" I said and Lyra nods in agreement.
Soos's pov
"wait wait wait wait wait- so you're telling me, Dipper is now a girl and you are a boy?" I saw the twins nod "and Dipper wants to be called Lyra?" I saw her nod "and Mable is Elliot?" I saw him nod I took a deep breath I could feel there nervousness "well, I still accept you as my favorite 2 people! Now come here and hug me!" I saw huge smiles form as they ran fast and hugged me I hugged back just happy to see them. "Soos?!" I heard Stan call for me oh Lord is this going to be interesting "oh kids!" He said walking over "how have you two been you look different come give your grunkle a hug!" He heald his arms and I saw them run at him and hug him "where's your hat dipper?" He said ruffling Elliots hair "and your mark" 'Oh no' I thought.
Lyra's pov

"Mable why do you have dippers mark?" He stood there blinking wondering me and my brother gave each other a look and I took a deep breath "grunkle where trans and we changed I became a girl and Mable became a boy I'm called Lyra and Mable is Elliot" I said keeping my eyes closed I looked at him and he was blnking then fell back and died the end.

He blinks and smiles "well hello Elliot and Lyra! Your still my favorite twins and welcomed to the family!" He hugged us and ruffled our hair again and we laughed we went upstairs and made our beds putting our stuff away "look Lyra!! Look at my splinters!!" I looked at my brother and see a bunch and shiverd at that.
I heard a cock of what sounds like a gun and I quickly looked over "on no- Elliot put it down-" I said with a sigh "grappling hook!!" He said as he shoot it I sighed in disappointment as he laughed super hard "alright alright grappling hook". Throughout the rest of the day we needed to explain our transition to people and they all accepted we have now been in gravity falls for half the summer now right now I was walking through the Forest with Elliot and we where holding hands it's something we did as comfort. As we walked I heard the familiar laugh and me and Elliot looked at each other "1. Didn't we erase bill 2. This will be interesting" Elliot said as I nod in agreement bill appears "ah! Well well well isn't it Pine tree and shooti-" He froze looking at us "what- the- fUcK-? Why do you look like that???? Who are you?!!? Do humans change that much that fast?????!??!?!?!" Bill was so confused causing us to laugh.
He looks at us "wHo EvEn ArE yOu WhAt ThE fUcK?!" We laughed harder now not being able to breathe "DID YOU GENDER SWAP WHAT HAPPENED I'M SO CONFUSED" This went on for a bit before we calmed down from our laugh attack I was taking deep breths and mentioned Elliot to Explain "ok ok ok I understand you are confused bill but just listen" He started getting bills attention. "Me and Lyra or Dipper are transgender I became a male and 'm called Elliot Dipper became a Female and is called Lyra we transitioned last year you got it?" He looks at us and blinked we both took turns explaining until he got it "oh- I now understand- so Dipper is She/her and Lyra and Mable is He/him Elliot?" He asked as we both nodded in agreement. "Ok- I have it written down to keep it memorized and now I'm going back to where I was to have a brakedown of confusion and questioning my life choices... Again-" I blink at him and Elliot waived bye "Common Lyra let's go back home I wanna tell Ford what we did!!" I nod but stood there for a couple more seconds before heading back with him. Back at the shack Elliot ran in "UNCLE FORD UNCLE FORD GUESS WHAT!!" he yelled as I sighed ive never been one for yelling as ford came upstairs "what-?" He was definitely tired overworking "Bill came back and we confused him because of our transformation and vanished because he was so confused" He had said out of breath I handed him some water before he passed out "Thanks sis!" He chugged it as I sighed in disappointment. Ford laughed and ruffled our hairs "good job kids!"
Soon we had dinner and chatted before heding to bed we layed down as I smiles "best day ever I'm so glad to be back"
"Me to Lyra I wonder what adventures we will face tomorrow"
"We will see tomorrow Elliot night!"
"Night!" He turned off the lamp and fell asleep oh gravity Falls what new strange event's will you bring us tomorrow I thought as I closed my eyes and tell asleep.
