No POV

As Hinata bounded in front of Oikawa on the sidewalk, the latter was finally able to appreciate the work of Sugamama.  He was wearing a half buttoned shirt with a black tank top underneath and white lace up high waisted shorts(see pic above).  Oikawa felt himself blush slightly as he jogged to catch up with the overexcited ginger.
"Shoyo!  Wait up!"
Hinata turned around and giggled at his companion's antics befor turning back around and skipping down the sidewalk towards the train station.
"Uugh, you're gonna be the death of me Chibi-chan," Oikawa called as he picked up his pace.  Luckily they were cutting through a small park, so there were hardly any people around.  "GOTCHA!" He cheered as he scooped Hinata up off the ground and into his arms.  Hinata started giggling and squirming in an attempt to get out of his friends grasp. "H-hey stop!  You're gonna make us fa-" Oikawa began before he and Hinata toppled over onto the grass.
They both started laughing until Hinata looked at how beautiful Oikawa was when he wasn't trying to be.  He drank in the other's features.  His perfect skin, his sharp jawline, high cheek bones, soft pink lips, and eyes that could melt a soul.
Wait...
EYES?!
Hinata realized that he was making eye contact with the boy beneath him before realizing what a comprimizing position they were in.
"Careful Shoyo, you keep acting like this and someone might just kiss you," Oikawa said quietly.
"S-sorry Toru!  I kinda zoned out for a bit..."
"It's ok shorty, lets just get to the station before we miss our train!"
"Okie dokie!"
Oikawa helped Hinata up, but neither mentioned or aknowledged how both of their faces were brigh red, or how they ran hand in hand the whole way to the station.
They arrived just in time for the train and managed to get seats next to each other at the very back of the car.
They managed to watch two movies on Oikawa's phone in the time it took for them to reach their final destination(I looked up the time it takes to get from Karumai(school karasuno is based off of) to Tsutsujigaoka park and its over 3 hours).
"You ready to go Shoyo?" Oikawa asked with excitement.
"Yep!" Hinata easily matched it.

Oikawa's POV

I grabbed his hand, and my heart melted a little when he didn't pull away. Maybe I do have a chance...
With that thought in mind we ran down the sidewalks until we reached the entrance to Tsutsujigaoka Park.  I watched as Shoyo's eyes sparkled at the sight.  The cherry blossom trees were in bloom and petals fell as the wind brushed through the trees.  "It's so beautiful Toru..."
Yeah, you are...
"Yeah, it is."
"Well c'mon!  What are we waiting for?!" He said and dragged me into the park.  There were vendors everywhere selling all kinds of different things.
One lady was selling traditional handmade kimonos and there was a man selling wooden flutes.  There were about fifty different places selling food.  Another place was selling blankets and another was selling handmade baskets.  It was amazing to see.
"What do you want to do first Shoyo?"
"Anything you want to do!"  He smiled at me and it made my face go red just knowing that he was smiling at me.  I was the reason he was smiling...
Ok, well why don't you go pick a spot in that field over there while I go get us something to eat?"  It was about six thirty and I was starting to get hungry.  Plus this would be a perfect time to surprise the literal ball of sunshine.
"Ok!" He shouted before running off.
The first think I did was buy a blanket and a basket before going to a sushi place and another place selling pastries and candies.
When I found Hinata he was sitting under a cherry blossom tree staring out at the water.  The nearly setting sun made him look so gorgeous.
"Hey Shoyo," I said quietly.  He hummed lightly, aknowledging me. "Surprise," I said with a smile.  I spread out the blanket and started unpacking the basket full of food.
"Toru!  You didn't have to do all this!"
"But I wanted to.  You're really special and I wanted to show you that."  You're really special to me...
"T-thank you..."
We sat on the blanked and ate, joking back and forth talking about volleyball until the unavoidable subject of Tobio came up.
"You really like him, don't you?" I asked, scared for the answer to be what I knew it was going to be.
"No..." NO?!  "No I don't.  He... He'll never see me that way, and I don't think I see him like that either.  He's mean.  I know it's not on purpose, he just doesn't know how to handle his or anyone else's feelings, and I-I'm scared that if I were in a relationship that he'd turn out like my mother."
"Oh..."
"I'm sorry Toru," he said with an obviously fake smile, "I completely ruined the mood..."
"No you haven't.  Don't ever be afraid to say whats on your mind with me, ok?"
"Ok." He said with a shaky breath.  I though he was about to start crying when I saw that he was shivering.
"You a little cold there shorty?"
"N-no..."  He looked away as his face turned red.  "...yes..."
I laughed a little before taking off my hoodie and tossing it at him.  "Put that on.  Don't argue," I said.  I could tell from the huff he let out that I had just read his mind.  "We're gonna be out here a while longer, and I don't need you catching a cold.  I can't defeat you on the court if you're home sick," I teased.
"As if!" Nevertheless, he put on my hoodie.
"Aww, Chibi-chan!  It looks so cute on you!"
"Are you calling me cute?" He said with an accusatory grin.
"Maybe I am," I said playing along.
"Careful Toru, you keep acting like this and someone might just kiss you"
"Hmm, I'll take my chances," I said with a wink.
What he did next took me by surprise.

Hinata's POV

I didn't really know what I was doing, but I decided I wanted to tease Toru a little.  I got up from where I was sitting and placed myself on his lap with one leg on either side of his hips.
"Oh, we're playing this game are we?" He asked as a smirk graced his features.  He put his hands around my waist and pulled me closer to him.  In turn I put my arms around his neck.  He still wore his iconic playboy smirk even though his face was bright red.  I'm sure mine was too, but I wasn't gonna lose.
He moved one arm from my waist and tightened his grip with the other befor gently grabbing my chin and leaning close.
I guickly moved my head to his shoulder in defeat. "You asshole!" I yelled, but my voice was muffled by his shirt.
"I win!' He said in a sing song voice.  "Though you might want to turn around.  The sun is about to set and the view is beautiful."
"Not as beautiful as you," I whispered.
"What was that?"
"I said it must be quite a view," I said quickly.
"Hm, alright."
"Toru... do you mind if I stay here?"
"Where? On my lap," He asked with a laugh.
"Y-yes... You're really warm and I... kinda like it?" I knew that if it wasn't before, my face was definitley burning red now, but Toru kindly overlooked it.
"Of course."
I turned around and faced the water once again as Toru gently wrapped his arms around me.  I leaned into his chest and let myself relax.  I feel safer here than I've ever felt anywhere else.  Like if I was with Toru then nothing could go wrong.
We watched the sun set in comfortable silence as the cherry blossom petals fell around us.  We sat there until the last bit of the sun dipped below the horizon.
This was most definitley a date.
