Field trip || Minsung

🍒 S E V E N 🍒

We are going against the most athletic cabin. When they throw the balls, you could see the wall shake as it gets hit by the ball. I'm not over exaggerating. I wasn't looking and one of the kids on the other team hits me in the stomach. Oh my god. It stings. Chan comes up to me and puts me on his back.

He is giving me a piggy-back ride to the infirmary. How sweet. There's something wrong with this nurse though...

Jeongin's POV

The nurse keeps on shaking and stumbling. How odd. Chan takes the ice pack from the nurse. "I can take it from here Miss..."

"You can call me Miss Ally or Miss A." (Haha get it?)

Chan nods "Can you notify a camp counselor that we will be back at Cabin 9?"

"Sure," Miss A grabs her walkie-talkie and speaks in to it.

For a minute, the walk was silent until Chan says something. "You know, every single time Hyunjin opens his mouth, Seungmin has something bad to say to him. Why is that?"

I stop walking to gather up the words to tell the story. We continue walking as I start the story.

Time skip~

We are both back in the cabin when I finish the story. "Wow. I didn't know Hyunjin did that to Seungmin. I'll talk to him about it later," Chan looked cute. Wait. I did not just think that. Nope. I start shaking my head back and forth to shake the absurd thoughts. I only stop when I realize that Chan's hand was on my shoulder, trying to calm me down.

"Are you okay, Innie?" Ahhhhhh oh no. Innie? The way he said it melted my heart. "Yeah I'm fine. I'm just tired. I'll go to sleep now."

"Okay. Sweet dreams."

Time skip to when everyone is back in the cabin

Chan's POV

I pull Hyunjin outside to talk to him in private about Seungmin. "Hey Chan. What do you need?"

"Hey. I just have a question about Seungmin." I bite by lip as I can sense that this is a touchy subject for him. I can see Hyunjin's face darkens for a split second, then goes back to his resting face.

"Oh?" was all he said back in response. "Yeah. Why is it every time you open your mouth, Seungmin comes and practically bites your head off with his words?" Even though I already heard Seungmin's side of the story from Jeongin, I would still like to hear what Hyunjin has to say.

"Oh, well I guess I should tell you the story." Hyunjin sighs before beginning the story.

Flashback to when Hyunjin and Seungmin were in kindergarten (again)

Hyunjin's POV

I'm eating Mickey Mouse Gold fish right now. I love the Mickey Mouse ones. Then I hear my friends talking about someone.

"Did you guys hear?"

"Hear what?"

"The kid, Seungmin, is going to ask Hyunjin to be his friend." Seungmin was going to ask to be friends? I want to be his friend. He seems to be nice. I'm definitely going to say yes.
