I wake up before dawn, to find Niall practically lying on me, his head tucked under my chin. I smile before gently pushing him away and pulling up the blanket to his chin. I take my scabbard along before freshening up myself at the lake. After some meditation, I start my training. My mind wanders to unnecessary things.

I concentrate on the sword in my hands, forcing myself not to think about certain Prince.

Last night with the Prince was so nice. To be talking with him like that, and imagining how it would feel to be like to hold his hand, kiss him- no. stop right there. You can't let yourself think about this. It's not right.

I wince when I feel the sword slice against my abdomen due to my carelessness. I grimace at the wound before cleaning it and tying it up with herbs. And then I continue my training. I take a few minutes break and sit down by the lake to watch the breaking dawn. It's so beautiful, the sky turning pink to purple and blue...and the sun rays lighting up everything.

What would it feel like to watch this with someone you love?

"Hey"

I look back to find Zayn approaching me.

"Good morning" I greet him as he sits down beside me, leaving comfortable distance.

"Good morning" he greets back, looking sideways at me "Training?"

"Yeah" I look back at the sky, now not looking that beautiful anymore because he is here. I want to roll my eyes at myself really.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" I say conversationally to get his eyes off me. He follows my eyesight and I relax.

"It is" he agrees "What are we going to do today?"

"We can go for a swim" I suggest, looking at the pink lake, reflecting the sky "It's been ages since I swam"

"Ugh" he grimaces and I frown at him. "Never been good with water"

"Fear of water?"

"Something like that" he shakes his head "I swim, but I don't like swimming."

"I see" I smile. "It's nothing like my strange fear of spoons though"

"Yeah" he chuckles. "It's cute, your fear for spoons"

Um....

"It's embarrassing" I mumble, feeling uncomfortable.

"Still cute"

Ugh.

"Thanks" I mumble, looking down at my hands.

"Do you always wake up this early?" he asks me and I nod "How long do you sleep?"

"Five or six hours?" I shrug "Depends on my father's mood"

Dang, I shouldn't have said that.

"Huh?" he is confused "Your father's mood?"

"I mean, if he is in a bad mood, he will wake me up very early." I mutter bitterly "If he is in good mood, this will be the time he wakes me up"

"Oh" he blinks "You train every day?"

"Yep"

"No wonder you are talented in this then" he smiles.

"I will take that as a compliment" I smile back and he raises his eyebrows.
