➡THE YEAR 1726⬅
Warwick lived with his three horrid witch-aunts, Salista, Varwarrin, and Alimalin. He grew up loving to read his aunt's spellbooks. But Salista refused to let him read one -- which made him even more curious. So he stole it one night. He discovered the Infinity Flower. It had nine petals and only bloomed once every one hundred years. The last time it had bloomed was the year 1630. Four more years and it would bloom again.
Perfect. That gave him time to plan.
Now, in this time, the world was a chaotic place. Lightning could strike at any time, dangerous animals ran ramped, the ocean was considered a threat (whirlpools, waves, ect.), ice constantly endangered everyone, everything was sour, the sun was just a hot ball of mass in the sky, twisted vines and branches concealed villages and homes, trees were blue and the sky was green, and fire was not used for warmth or melting things, it was a deathly substance.
Warwick was twelve at this time. Ever since he could remember, he felt he was meant do something great. And this seemed so right. The world needs this, he told himself.
He spent the next four years planning, calculating, doing spells, preparing, and collecting other materials.
He collected a lightning bolt, a bear's claw, a raindrop, a snowflake, a piece of candy, a ray of light, a flower seed, ray of rainbow, and a flame.
Finally, the day arrived.
March 22, 1730 -- the day the world became as it is now.
But he set out March 19. He trekked across scorching deserts, freezing tundras, steep mountains, and wet seasides.
Finally, he came to the place where the Infinity Flower grew at 5:27 p.m. four days after he left home.
The flower always bloomed at 5:30. If you didn't pick it right away, it wouldn't let you.
He watched in wonder as the amazing flower bloomed when the clock struck 5:30. He yanked it up by the roots the minute it was still. He had 45 seconds to spare. He plucked out a seed and gently laid the flower in his satchel. He took the seed and planted it in the bit of earth he'd just removed the flower from.
20 seconds.
He quickly but carefully covered the seed.
10 seconds.
He poured a single drop of water on the spot of dirt.
5 seconds.
"Zinthos!" he shouted, and the clock struck 5:31. The seedling bloomed into a little green sprout. It would soon become a great Infinity Flower. It had been around for 900 years. Why would Warwick be the one to end it? So he made sure it would go on.
He took it home (he arrived four days later) and took out nine wooden bowls.
In the first he put the lightning bolt inside. Then, he lay one of the Infinity Flower's petals. He mashed it into dust. Lightning crackled outside. He mixed the dust into milk (it turned grey) and drank it. Immediately, the lightning stopped. He brought out the warm sun.
"The first force -- WEATHER!" he shouted.
He used the last eight petals -- and made the power of Animals, Water, Ice, Sweets, Light, Nature, Color, and Fire.
He mixed each of the dusts with milk. It turned brown, aqua blue, sky blue, pink, yellow, green, rainbow, and orange.
He began to control everything. He put away the remains of the dusts in a safe and padlocked it.
He drank some of his aunt's potions and was able to create forcefields, turn invisible, fly, and use super-speed.
This created the Nine Forces.
