Third Person's POV
Sunghoon never thought that he'd hate how time went so fast for today. It was already lunch time. Heeseung and Jay immediately went to their chair as they hand Jaeyun their gifts.
"Happy birthday Jaeyun-ah~"
Heeseung said giving him a cute silver box. Whispering something on him, making Jaeyun smile.
"Happy birthday bro."
Jay now spoke as he handled him a gold box. He and Jaeyun went for a bro hug as Jay ruffled his hair.
All was witnessed by Sunghoon. He looked down. But he heard the two spoke again.
"Well. That's it. We should leave you guys. I think Sunghoon prepared something very special for you."
Heeseung said making Sunghoon look at him. Widening his eyes, and yet the older just stared at him smiling. The two exited the room. Now Sunghoon doesn't have any choice but to face Jaeyun.
"Hey"
Jaeyun looked at him. Smiling.
'He's so smiley today. That's cute.'
"So. Shall we... Go out and eat lunch?"
Jaeyun nodded at him and smiled again. He then again grabbed his bag and held it for him.
"Why are you so smiley huh?"
Sunghoon started, lightly elbowing him.
"I just feel like it hahaha."
"That's good though. You need to be happy today."
Sunghoon said looking at him before smiling. He was about say something when someone spoke.
"Jaeyun hyung!!!!"
The two men looked at where the voice is coming from. Seeing a smiling Sunoo. Sunghoon looked at Jaeyun, the man smiling back at him and waving his hand.
"May I borrow him hyung? Byeeee~"
Sunoo suddenly said and grabbed Jaeyun with him. Jaeyun looked back at Sunghoon mouthing 'See you later' to him.
He gripped Jaeyun's bag as he head to the canteen. The boys saw that Jaeyun is not with him. And Sunoo is nowhere to be found, they just kept quiet.
The afternoon classes are a bit awkward. Sunghoon can't meet Jaeyun in the eyes. The other throws him stolen glances but he don't bother.
He had planned something after school. But he's not sure if he can do it. Or if they can even spend some time 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳.
But then again. The time has come and it's dismissal. They're dismissed a little bit earlier since it's only two days left before the festival. Tomorrow, they will have the whole day to prepare.
Jaeyun was ready to go outside.
"Jaeyunie"
Sunghoon held his hand, stopping him. Jaeyun looked at him.
"Yes?"
"Do you have plans after school?"
Sunghoon is hoping he'll say none. He's hoping.
"I don't have any. Why?"
Sunghoon sighed in relief. He looked at Heeseung and Jay, he didn't realize the two already went out. He looked back at Jaeyun and smiles.
"Great. Would you like to go out with me?"
Jaeyun looked at him. A soft "hmmm" was heard from him.
"Where are we going?"
"Is it okay if we'll go home extra late today?"
"Huh? Wait. I'll tell my parents."
Jaeyun said. Even if he's confused, he still called his parents, telling them that he'll be late today. It's his first time to stay up late after school but he really don't mind it now. 𝘏𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘚𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘸𝘢𝘺.
