Chapter 8

Hayes POV

We finally pulled up to the hospital. They rushed Cheyann into a room and told me to sit in the waiting room. Ten minutes later everyone came running into the waiting room. When they seen me sitting here they rushed over to me. Nash hugged me and cried into my shoulder. Cam and Autumn were hugging. I looked over Sam and Dulce. They were both hugging and crying. Jc pulled Samantha into a hug. Kian had tears coming down his cheeks so Melyssa wrapped her arms around him. Ricky pulled Kenzie into a hug. Destiny grabbed Connor and was telling him everything was going to be ok. I then seen Trevor and it broke my heart. He was the worst out of all the guys. Him and Cheyann are really close. They are not as close as Cheyann and Taylor but they are pretty damn close. Savannah pulled him outside to cool off. Matt was sitting next to Violet and she was sitting next to me. She stood up so Nash could sit down. He sat down and pulled her into his lap and cried into her shoulder. I looked around for Shawn. I finally found him sitting in a corner alone. He had tear streaks on his cheeks. I got up and hugged him. After I let go I went back to my spot. Matt said that he was going to go call everyone and tell them what happened. He stepped outside and called everyone. I looked down at my hands and just sat there in silence until a girl walked in the room. She had tears in her eyes. She looked about my age. She was absolutely beautiful. She sat alone in a corner. I told Nash that I was going to go talk to her. He gave me a weak smile. I walked up to her and sat next to her. She looked up and almost passed out. Oh my God your Hayes Grier. Yes I am I said with a weak smile. I then asked her name. She said her name was Megan Godbout. I asked her what was wrong and she said my sister is in the hospital diagnosed with cancer. She started crying so I wrapped my arms around her and let her cry into my shoulder. She lifted up her arm to wipe away her tears and I noticed she had cuts and bruises all over her wrist and arm. I pulled her arm towards my mouth and kissed all of her scars and bruises and asked why. She told me her life sucks and isn't worth living for. She told me her parents abuses her and her sister. She said that her sister has had cancer for a year and a half and has been hospitalized for six months. She said that she is bullied at school because of how she dresses. She said that she has been sleeping at friends houses until they kick her out. She said that her dad got fired from his job when her sister got sick and her mom quit her job for drugs. Her parents spent all their money on drugs and got the electric cut off and the water. She started staying at her friends house until they kicked her out. She had to get a job so she could pay for her sister to stay in the hospital. She comes here everyday and sits with her sister and they watch Nash Cheyann and I's videos because they are huge fans. I smiled and asked who is her favorite. She said that I was her favorite. I smiled and pulled her into a hug. I asked her if she had a place to stay tonight and she looked down. I pulled her head up and looked her in the eyes. I asked her again and she shook her head no. I got up and walked to Nash and told him about her and asked if she could stay with us. He said yea. I walked up to her and pulled her into a hug and told her that she was staying with us at the hotel. She refused. The doctor came out and said that she could visit her sister. I asked if I could come in with her to meet her sister. She smiled and said yes. I told Nash what I was doing and he said that is fine. I walked back to Megan. We walked off. As we were walking I grabbed her hand and intertwined our fingers. She looked down at our hands and blushed. I know I just meet her but I really like her and I felt sparks when I was holding her hand. We got to her sisters room and I waited outside until she said she has someone for her to meet. She walked in and hugged her then said Mary I have someone for you to meet. I walked in and sat down in the chair next to the bed. Mary had the biggest smile on her face. She stared at me and asked if it was real. I smiled and said yes. She asked for a hug. I gladly gave her a hug. I sat in there for about thirty minutes talking to Mary. I found out she is 11 years old. She is pretty cool. I then remember that Megan don't have a place to stay so I look at Mary and say you know Megan don't have a place to stay. She looked at Megan. Megan glared at me. I then tell Mary that I offered her a place and she refused and that I think she just needs some encouragement. Mary looks at Megan and says YOU ARE STAYING WITH HAYES GRIER AND THAT IS FINAL. She then looked at me and whispered was that good enough. I smiled and said yes. Megan looks at me and starts smiling. Nash text me saying that we can go see Cheyann. I tell them that I have to go see my sister and I will be back later to get Megan. I hugged Mary and kissed her cheek. I walked out and went to the room Nash said to go to. I get to the door and hear screaming. I stand there for a minute and listen. Its Cheyann screaming. I walk in and Nash looks at me and says she just woke up screaming and I went to calm her down and she said she wanted you. I walked up to the bed and Cheyann tried to get up but the boys had to push her back. I sat down on the bed and she crawled into my lap and curled up into me and cried. She wrapped her arms around me tight. I rubbed her back and told her everything was going to be ok. She finally calmed down and fell asleep. The doctor walked in and said that she could go home when she wakes up. We sat there for an hour waiting for her to wake back up. She finally woke up. We all started leaving when I remembered Megan. So I said that we had to go get her. We all walked to Mary's room and got Megan. We talked to Mary for thirty minutes then we went to the hotel. When we got to the hotel everyone went to their rooms. Cheyann went and stayed in Matt's room. Megan slept in the bed with me and Violet slept with Nash. Megan changed into some clothes that Cheyann let her use and crawled up into the bed. I pulled her into me and wrapped my arms around her. I kissed her forehead and said goodnight then I fell asleep.
