I am back doing the same job again now. Going to the bank. I sometimes wonder if I have started working here as well. But there is a slight change. Now, I don't get so annoyed to visit the place. Yeah, maybe because I have a friend there.
Jungkook! He is someone who had hurt me but he definitely wasn't the first and hence, his words never really bothered me much but everything he said in the restaurant that day really managed to hit my heart.
I just hope that letting him in wasn't a bad decision I made because for the first time, I actually wanted to believe him, I wanted a friend.
I am giving him a chance because he wants to be my friend probably because he wants to be my friend and not because he sympathizes with me or because he feels bad that I don't have a single friend. It feels good that someone really wants me in their life for who I am. I mean he doesn't have the slightest idea of my past so he has been genuine. He really wants to be my friend for who I am. I just hope he doesn't break my trust.
I inhaled a deep breath and stood outside the bank's entrance door and stared at the gate for a minute. It's okay, he is my friend after all.
I could see the guards giving me disgusted looks. I could even see them rolling their eyes at me and they didn't even open the gate for me. It's not like it affected me or I cared.
I walked a bit slowly feeling small and nervous. I kept fiddling with my fingers till the time I knocked on his door.
"May I come in?" I asked a bit loudly and pushed the door open a bit.
"Hey Taehyung, Ow!" Jungkook yelled a bit happily and got up excited to bang his knee on the table again.
I tried my best to hide a small laugh under my breath.
"Mr. Kim, please come inside." Jimin said as I slowly walked towards them.
"Please, call me Taehyung, Mr. Park." I said and bowed a little.
"I will call you Taehyung if only you stop calling me Mr. Park and start calling me Jimin. And please don't bow, I already told you that." Jimin replied, smiling.
"O-Okay Jimin." I replied smiling.
"Ahem!" I heard Jungkook clearing his throat and I immediately turned towards him and bowed.
"I'm sorry, Jungkook. I wasn't flirting or trying to make a friend, I know he is married and I just don't want to create any prob---"
"Hey, Taehyung! Calm down, it's okay." Jungkook said a bit softly, cutting my sentence.
I gulped a bit and nodded my head.
"Jungkook-ah! What's even wrong in making a friend or two, huh?" Jimin asked, standing beside me.
I didn't look up still.
"Nothing, Nothing at all! He should make a friend or two and you should definitely be his friend." Jungkook replied, smiling.
I looked up now seeing Jungkook genuinely smiling and not in a mocking way.
"Don't worry, my brother in law tends to be stupid most of the time." Jimin replied giggling.
"Oh? He is your brother in law?" I was a bit surprised.
"Yeah, as you said a minute back, he's married." Jungkook said with raised eyebrows.
"Jimin-ssi, I apologize, I wasn't flirting with you that day or even today." I said bowing again.
"Hey stop apologizing and definitely stop bowing." Jimin said holding my shoulder to make me stop bowing.
