My dad came to visit me like he does everyday. I don't hate it and he's promised to watch Little Fetta until I get out of here. He says Blaine comes over to help watch too when he has to go to work which is good. I was reading my Vogue Magazine when I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in." I said, not looking up from the magazine.

"Hey bud. How are you feeling?" My dad says, pulling a chair up to my bed. I put the magazine down and smiles at him.

"I'm feeling better. Everyone always comes to say hi and fill me. I'm sleeping better and I hope to get out of here soon."

"I miss you at home. I mean Finn's there but it feels almost empty like-"

"Like when mom died?"

He looks at me and hold my hand in both of his. I put my hand over his and he sniffles. It breaks my heart because neither of us had forgotten that day when my mother passed away in a hospital. I remember the days that felt like elephant after elephant came into the house, making it gloomy. I look at my dad who has always been a rock to me cry.

"Dad...your heart...Please dont cry."

"Kurt, I don't care about it right now. I care about you and the last place I wanted you to end up was in this place. It scares the living hell. Hell, not hearing you finish your sentence on the phone scared me. You remind me so much of your mother and I promised her that I would take care of you."

"And you are. I'm okay. I'm getting better and soon I'll be back home cooking you healthy food."

"I kind of miss your cooking bud. Don't tell Carole."

"I miss you dad." I said, hugging him. He hugged me back.

"I miss you too kiddo. You know that dog refuses to leave your room sometimes."

"I miss him too. How is Blaine?"

"I think I need to talk to him. I dont think he's handling this well and sometimes he can't be in the same room as Finn."

"I know Blaine. He pretends he's fine but really, he's just angry."

"I would be too. Kurt, anything could have happened and I see the way the two of you look at each other. It's the same way that I used to look at your mom. He really loves you."

"I love him too. I can't see myself with anyone else but him and he's all I want. But I can't help but feel like something's wrong."

"Well what ever it is I'm sure you'll figure it out. When do you feel like going back to school?"

"I'm still scared but I know that I can't let Kurofsky have power over me."

"You're the strongest person I know. You have always been but this is your decison. The doctor said that you can go whenever you want."

"Do I have anything? You know?"

"No. You're clean."

"Thank gaga."

We laughed and talked about the shop, Little Fetta's mischief, Carole trying to make some of my recipies when my phone buzzed with a message. I looked at it hoping it would be Blaine but it was some unknown number and the message said: WE'RE COMING AFTER YOU LADY HUMMEL. I got scared and looked at my dad. He took the phone from my hands and put it down.

"Dad?"

"They won't get you. Now come on, get some rest and sleep it off. I'm right here."

I nodded and laid back, letting my dad cover me up and squeeze my hand. I smiled at him as he smiled back and I closed my eyes.
