Deep in the woods, alongside a lake, a dark tabby tom lay asleep under the stars. He had traveled here to the Moon Pool for a very good reason. Just the other night, he had seen a flash on the twelvth star of Silverpelt. He knew immediatly after that he needed to travel to the Moon Pool right away. If it was any other star it would be different, but it was not. It was this star. This star was Firestar. He new something must be going on in StarClan, that Firestar needed to tell him something. He fell asleep and awaited a dream.
He was on the other side of the lake, near RiverClan territory. He could make out a shadow in the distance. It was Firestar. He ran over to him, and they touched noses. Firestar spoke: "Bramblestar, I always knew you would be a good leader. Thank-you for coming and sharing dreams with StarClan right away." Bramblestar nodded. Firestar continued: "Dark cats rule the forest. One will shed blood, the other will rule. I am counting on you, Bramblestar, to find the smoke that will calm the fire." Firestar faded away, along with his words, but Bramblestar needed no more. He understood completely.
He awoke with sudden alert. "Don't worry Firestar," he ran back to his Clan, "I won't let you down!"
