"Pansy, I would come out but I can't. I have to make a quick visit home." I said as I got dressed.

"Oh, want me to come with you?" She asked.

"Pansy, I love you but my house isn't really very warm. It's a cold massive house and my father isn't any better." I said. She nodded and left. I felt bad turning her away like that but I had no other choice.

"Where are you off too?" Draco said as he walked into my room.

"Your house believe it or not." I said as I took my shirt off. He turned his head to look away but looked out of the corner of his eye making me giggle.

"W-What for?" He asked.

"Father dear has something to talk to me about." I said. "How did you know I was leaving?" I said.

"Pansy." He said.

"Oh right. Also apparently my father is throwing a ball, at my house. He's sending out the invitations soon I think. Anyway, pass the news on the Leo would you?" I said putting on a black dress.

"You do know we're going to have to come with you right?" He said.

"Ew. Fine, if you must. Sit in a different compartment to me at least. I'd like a little alone time. Also I'm bringing Pesto." I said.

"Fine." He said leaving.

"When we leaving?" Leo said barging in.

"I'll come find you." I said. He rolled his eyes and left. What an ass.

I packed a small suitcase assuming my father would make me sleep there, though I don't do a lot of sleeping. I walked out of my room and walked to the common room, Pesto in my arms.

"Let's go assholes." I said as I walked in.

"Where are you going?" Pansy asked.

"They're insisting on coming with me." I said. Pansy looked sad I sat next to her and kissed her cheek. "I'll be back soon and then you and I can go out and get black out drunk. Draco and Leo can't come." I said. She smiled.

I got onto the train as they followed me.

"No, no. Fuck off. Get your own compartment stay the fuck away." I said. They smirked and got the one right next to us. I rolled my eyes and sat down in my own compartment. I unstransfigured Pesto and he sat on the other side, fast asleep.

The entire trip I stared out the window. My father is a simple man. He tells me what he needs done and I do it. He doesn't beat around the bush. One of the boys came into the compartment.

"Hello." He said. I looked to face him, Leo.

"Hey Leo. What do you want?" I said.

"I want to know what's going on. Why does your dad need you?" He asked.

"I don't know. All he's told me is that he's throwing a ball and wants me to come. And I'll imagine he's going to make me write the invitations. Fun." I said crossing my arms and refocusing my attention outside the window.

"I know it bothers you." He said.

"What do you mean?" I asked looking at him again.

"How he only asks to see you if he needs something from you. How your reputation was ruined by him. And the fact that the reasons you get singled out is because of him. All the dirty looks is because of him. I know that shit bothers you. How could it not. You put up this bad bitch front but I know you're a softie and he's hurting you. Like how whenever he went into hiding it was just you and Abigail. You grew up in a cold empty house with hardly any company. The only company you did have where your books. You raised yourself. And whenever your father did come home you held these expectations he was going to be the father you had always wanted, like the father's you had read about in all your books just to be disapointed when he left you alone again. I see you Tazmera Riddle." He said. I felt my eyes going glassy and my nose tingled.
