Thank you all for reading. I'm so glad that a few people read the first chapter. It actually motivated me to write the second one.
Let me know what you think!

P.s. this one's still a beta version

She felt his dark eyes still obeying her, while they just stood in the room. Neither of them said a word for quite a few seconds. Every time her eyes got caught into his brown orbs, she felt her pulse rising. A small blush was crawling up her cheeks, as she tried yet again to avoid those brown eyes, that tried to read her.

"Let's get going!" His voice sounded so calm and understanding, like he knew that she needed some time until she would open up about the previous case.

JJ just nodded her head, sending him a thankful smile for understanding her, before she picked up the rest of the files that were still on the table. She heard him open the door and within a second she was all on her own.

Hotch was an awesome men, always understanding her. Perhaps one of the few, that knew how she was dealing with cases, where children were involved.

It was not like she couldn't talk with the rest of the team. She knew Spence and Emily where always there for her, yet neither of them had kids waiting for them at home. But Hotch did. He was a parent as well, and he would give anything to make his son happy.

And then there was the fact, that Hotch himself was a single parent just like her, even tough she isn't raising her son on her own. JJ hadn't lost the love of her life to an evil ripper. Will was still taking care of his child, yet they decided that they shouldn't keep on living a life, pretending to be a happily married couple just for the world to see.

And there she was, a young mother who was trying to save the world from the pure evil. To make it a better place for her son.

JJ gathered all the left sheets on the table up and made her way up to her office. She had to get her Go-bag and leave as soon as possible. There was another case, waiting for them.

Twenty minutes later, the team was on the jet. All their belongings were already put away. JJ sat herself next to Spence, who was involved in a discussion with Morgan about the right way of playing baseball. While Reid insisted, that some could calculate how to hit the ball with the right degree, Morgan pressed that it was all about hard training and feelings.

"JJ tell him, you don't have time to calculate anything while playing soccer, right?" And with that question of her fellow team mate, she was involved in the conversation. A smile growing on her lips, knowing that this discussion would never end.

"He's right, Spence. You might be able to calculate everything, yet during a mach you don't have the time for it!" She replied, remembering her days, as she was still practicing her favorite sport.

Spence just squinted his eyes, glaring at his best friend, like she didn't have his back. "Ha, there you go kid!" Morgan almost yelled, getting everyone else's attention.

"Actually, if they would train every one in a sports team, how to calculate while playing, there would be a better winning rate!" the doctor claimed, as he leaned back in his seat.

„It's not always about winning, Reid!" Just as his voice reached her ears, she jolted in her seat. JJ hadn't noticed that Hotch had seated himself on her other side. As she glanced over, his head was tilted over some files, as he overlooked them for this case.

Normally the leading unit chief would have looked for a place far away from the others, so that he could catch up on some work that still needed to be done, yet he was sitting quite close to the team.
