Flynn was hard at work on the thrusters, hoping to repair them before Kyra finished the cockpit. Of course something had to go wrong the one time they decided to get everyone back together. He knew Kyra's hands were still injured from using her magic, so likely, he would be done before her.

Just as he finished his thoughts a wrench clattered from the front of the ship, hitting a side wall, and bouncing into a room. Flynn rolled his eyes, he never understood why Kyra threw things when she was mad, or why it had to be something hard and metal that could knock someone out. He grabbed the wrench walking to the cockpit.

Most of the fuses had been fixed, dash panels replaced, and navigation reset. He held out the wrench, "You threw this."

She took it, mumbling something along the lines of a 'thank you' in Atalian, their language. Flynn sighed, "Is something wrong?"

"The one bloody time I try to let Zaria do something she crashes my ship! The one damn time we have a deadline everyone thinks it's a grand idea to go galavanting around the galaxy on a round trip! I should just do this myself and-"

"Don't say that, you know that we all need to stick together, besides, maybe everyone will calm down."

"Likely scenario," sarcasm dripped from her voice. Flynn sighed, rolling his eyes. He walked out of the cockpit, going back to finish the thruster, going like this it should only be another hour or so. Kyra watched him leave, sighing. She looked back at the still broken panel. She knew it wasn't Zaria's fault, not really.

"So just say it.", a voice from behind her insisted.

She rolled her eyes, "I'm not talking to you right now."

Adrian gaped, "What?! Why?"

"Because you weren't any help."

"Well then just summon me back, then I can help. Jeez, you act like you can't just manipulate the spirit realm."

She glared up at him, "You act like I have time for this conversation, get out and go talk to Zaria or something."

"I can't, I'm dead," he whined, "You're the only one who can make me visible to everyone!"

"And who's fault is that, who's fault is it that you're dead, hmm? Because last I checked you didn't want me interfering with that."

He threw his hands out, "That was seven years ago, come on, I've told you already let it go, it was the right thing to do."

"You still think that?", she looked him in the eyes, he seemed taken aback, she shook her head, "It only hurt for so long, didn't it? It hurt the ones you left behind the most."

"You can still see me, don't act like that."

Vex walked by the cockpit door just then, and Kyra hadn't seen him. He waited, seeing a faint outline of his best friend. Kyra bit her lip, "You act like I didn't care at all Adrian, well I cared a whole lot more than you'll ever know."

"Well then just come here with me, you could be done with them, it's painless here."

She rolled her eyes, knowing he was serious, "I can't do that, and you know it, now go."

Adrian disappeared in a thin wisp, annoyed look stuck on his face. Vex slowly walked in, "Was that-"

He didn't finish his sentence, Kyra glanced at him, "I'm sorry Vex," she said as if she already knew what he was asking, "I just can't talk to him right now, maybe some other time."

Vex slowly sat down, "What happened?"

Kyra glanced over, then back towards him, "It's a long story."
