Mavis floated in the air behind Zeref who was sitting on the grass
Mavis: So you were watching the battles in Liones after all. Zeref.
Zeref answered in a soft and calm voice
Zeref: I neither hear you nor see your face my dear Mavis, yet I know you are somewhere near looking down on me with those big distinctful eyes.
She floated to the ground and stood behind him
Mavis: It's been 3.000 years since the two of us have been this close to each other.

They said the same things and Mavis continued
Mavis: Are you still looking for a place to die?
Zeref: It's already been decided on.
He spoke with a trace of amusement
Zeref: You know, it took me a while but I finally understand how stupid my dreams were, peace was never an option.
Mavis: Do you really think it?
Zeref: Evil is everywhere in this world, even without enemies people find reasons to create conflicts. Especially humans... I've been around for a few thousands years now Mavis, born witness to the rise and fall of many kingdoms. Human conflict, hatred, wickedness, the dorm of each new era I've always hoped these things would pass, until at last I realized no matter what changes the depravity of man is a constant.
Mavis: There are always thoses that fight for something better.
Zeref turned his head behind him and said in a way as if he had heard a bad joke
Zeref: Come now, those idearess are the worst of them, lying to themselves and to each other with every breath they take.
Mavis had a sad look, and said
Mavis: Then you won't wait any longer?
Zeref: Yes that's correct, for 3,000 years I've been making up my mind, and I've come to the decision that since the world has rejected me, I have no choice but to reject this world.
Mavis: Even if by doing this you lose the only thing you have left? Your own identity.
Zeref got up and the forest started to die around him
