The boring school day was almost over. Still raining, but almost over.
I have lunch, and science left. Then, I can go home, and take a nap. You may think that sounds boring, but who are you to judge me? You're probably laying down while reading this(ง'̀-'́)ง
The lunch bell rang, and I hurried to the cafeteria. I get to see Innie since we have the same lunch schedule so this is the highlight of my day.
I spot my red headed child, and speed walk over to him. You think i'm going to run, and embarrass myself? No. Speed walk!
As soon as I get within 4 feet of him I get engulfed in a hug. I hate smiling, but this kid has that effect on me.
"Hi, y/n! I saw you talking to my brother earlier? "
"Don't remind me, Innie." I say in a whine.
"You know you're the only person he's actually that nice to. Why do you hate him so much?" He tilts his head.
"He's too nice to me. You don't find that annoying or even weird?" I ask as we walk in the lunch line.
"But, I'm always nice to you. Do you find me annoying too?" He says with a slight frown.
"Of course not, Innie. I love you, but you're the only exception." I say while slinging my arm around him, and tapping his nose.
Me and Innie have been inseparable since I was in 3rd grade, and he was in 1st.
We've been neighbors ever since he moved in when I was very young.
So yeah I guess that's our story. Pretty boring.
We weren't born the same day, our parents aren't bestfriends, and, we aren't secretly in love with eachother. Just a simple friendship.
That I wouldn't change for the world.
Sure I.N had tons of friends. Although not to brag, I do indeed qualify as number one. Though, his other close friends are a group of boys actually. Yeah, I'm the only girl. Not that I hang out with them. I'm too socially awkward.
Besides I think one of them is actually pretty cute. I'm not going to embarrass myself...
I think two of them are a couple. I don't know their names but, the one that looks like a squirrel is adorable. His boyfriend always has a blank expression on his face and blinks really slow. I hear he dances well. He's very handsome.
The one I am somewhat fond of is a short blonde kid with freckles. He may be cute, but man is his voice deep. It kind of scares me, but he's sweet. Again, not that I actually have conversations with them. They all seem very chaotic anyways.
If I was friends with Ni-ki that would be just as bad! His friends are so loud! I notice there's one with brown hair, pretty tall, he seems to keep them somewhat tame. Ni-ki is in the same grade as me. All of his friends, except for one kid that always has a smile on his face, are seniors.
Why am I thinking about Ni-ki?
"Oh my god why is Jungkook in our school cafeteria?" Jeongin basically yells and snaps me out of my thoughts.
"WHAT, WHERE?" I whisper yell while shaking the younger.
When I start to see him giggling I realize he sadly made that up.
"You little-" before I could finish my sentence I feel a tap on my shoulder.
When I turn around I see a tall, and built guy with curly brown hair. Why is he smiling so much? Oh no he's sticking his hand out.
I reacted quick and shook his hand. My face was very red. Why do I get so nervous around people? I need to get out more...
"Hi! My name is Bang Chan. You can call me Chan though." He says in a thick aussie accent with a bright grin.
I just gave him a slight smile and took my hand away. Jeongin on the other hand, clung onto the guy.
They must be close. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
"I was coming over here to invite Innie to sit with us. You're more than welcome to as well!" He said still smiling. Why is this guy so smiley?
Before I could decide, I.N did for me. "She would love to!" He shot an evil smile my way, and I gave in.
Ugh.
I take the only empty seat between the cute guy with freckles and the one with long blonde hair.
Wow, his hair is better than mine.
I snap out of it when he gets up to leave. He waves us off, and tells us how he has to leave early. So, there is now an empty seat next to me.
Which someone takes.
Just my luck, it's him.
The guy that looks like a squirrel, greets Ni-ki with a smile.
I do quite the opposite. I turn the other way forgetting there is someone sitting there. Our faces are now very close.
Kill me.
"Oh, hi there." He says while, i can't tell if he's smirking or grinning. Either way, this is embarrassing.
I get up to leave. I'll just eat lunch in the library.
When I climb the stairs and enter the quiet room i find a seat. Again my luck comes against me, and the bell rings right as I sit down. I guess I just won't eat today. (but my lovely readers you should eat something❤️)

As it still pores, I regret parking so far away. Innie caught a ride from that nice guy, Chan. So, it's just me.
As I'm standing at the doors watching the rain, I feel a tap on my shoulder. Again.
I bet you can't guess who it is. What is with this guy?
He's holding an umbrella with a toothy smile. He nods meaning for me to walk.
Why is my face heating up?
When we get to my car I say a small thanks to him, and quickly get in.
When I get home I throw myself onto my bed. I feel myself once again drift off to another dreamless sleep.
I take too many naps.
