2.Birthday

3rd pov

It's been awhile since Ali joined Mata, about 3 or 4 years now. Tomorrow is Alicia's birthday, her 16th birthday.

Over the years he had grown some feelings toward her, possibly romantic ones? Who knows maybe it is, only He knows what feelings those are.

So He thought he should surprise her. He wanted to make her a cake but he doesn't know how to bake. How about a surprise party? No. She hates surprise parties. What if he asked her out on a little date? That could be interesting. Oh and how about a bracelet too.

But the asking part will be difficult.
He decided to ask her when she's busy with something, mainly because he can't bear to do it straightforwardly. If he did she'll probably decline and slap him again. Like all the other failed attempts over the past years.

He doesn't want what happened to the boy who last confessed to her. The thought sends shivers down his spine just thinking about it.

Note: He got a broken nose, and some broken balls.

He'll do it when school's over.

They were at the academy, Alicia was doing her school homework. When she had no classes or missions, she would do her homework for the day, you know, before any chaos can happen. Ali thought this was the perfect time to ask her, she's distracted.

"Hey Alicia, can I ask you something?" He sat down next to her.

"Hmm" she says, not looking up from her work. She was really focused.

"Would gou like to go on a date with me?" He whispers into her ear. Bracing for a possible slap from her.

"Yeah - yeah whatever."it seems like she didn't listen to what he said.

That was... Surprisingly easy! She didn't decline. Nor slapped him. Wow, that's new.

"Alright then, I'll pick you up tomorrow at 11!" He left.

"What?" She just realized what he asked her. Oh, what did she sign up for?

She wanted to find him and say she declines but it's too late for that.

It was the next day, Alicia woke up at 10 am. As usual.

Her father is not here, typical.

She took out a cereal box and milk. She took a bowl and spoon, poured the cereal,the milk and done, breakfast.

Once she finished that, she went back to her room, she took a quick shower and decided on a simple outfit for her "date" that she didn't really care about. This isn't her first date. She chose a Yellow sweater and shirt to wear under it, as it was bit cold outside. She also chose some long jeans. Yellow socks and white Converse. And of course her usual yellow headband.

She was just putting on her headband when the doorbell rang. That must be him.

And when she opened the door, correct. It was Ali. He was wearing a red shirt with Long black pants,White socks and white shoes with red accents and a gold chain necklace.

"Let's go shall we?" Ali says.

"Yeah okay, wait let me lock the door first." As she locked the door, they went to the train station.
