Chapter 11

There was a new worker working in the Storage Data department. Everyone was talking about him. His name was Reiner Braun. He had been working there for a month. The ladies kept on admiring and fan-girling about him and did not focus on their work.

"I think you stand out too much," (Y/N) told him.

"Am I or is it because I am assign to you that they keep an eye on you?" Reiner teased her.

(Y/N) blushed.

"You sure have sweet mouth there, young mister. Now, let's finish this and we're done."

"Yes, mam," Reiner said as he nodded.

As usual the department would have their after work time together before going back home. Sasha and Petra kept on asking Reiner a lot of questions and the short blond hair with hazel eyes guy still had energy to entertain them. He was sure friendly and open to everyone. He smiled a lot too making the ladies swooned over him. Historia looked at (Y/N) who was a bit tired from answering all the interrogations by the ladies and work.

"Here you go," said Historia as she put a cup of tea in front of (Y/N).

"Thank you," the girl replied.

"You've been getting along with Reiner so well and it looks like he is interested in you," Historia told her.

"Should you leave the guy you love for him?" Jean suddenly asked.

(Y/N) glanced at him.

Jean laughed. Historia laughed as well.

"Relax. I was joking."

"You know the whole building, all departments from each floor are talking about you and him. It becomes the hottest gossip but I guess you never bothered by these rumours, do you?" Historia then asked.

"I treat Reiner like a brother, not more than that," (Y/N) told them.

The girl could not stop the rumours from spreading. She also could not tell everyone that she was married to the president of Ackerman. That would make things even more worst.

On one day, she went home early. Hoping that she could see her husband who was always had tight schedule lately. She took a warm bath and waited for Levi in the living room. While waiting, she settled few documents which she had brought home. (Y/N) soon fell asleep on the sofa and only to be found by Levi as he arrived home around one o'clock in the morning. Gently, he lifted her to their bed.

"Levi," (Y/N) mumbled in her sleep making Levi stopped with his movement and looked at her.

He sat next to his wife and caressed her hair.

"It seems that you are actually popular, brat," he whispered.

The office kept on talking about (Y/N) and Reiner day by day. While (Y/N) was on her way to the store room, she met Erwin and he told her that Levi was calling for her.

"Is it about the rumours?" (Y/N) asked.

She then walked to Levi's office and there, the man was starring at her like a mad lion. (Y/N) gulped.

"Do you intend to let the rumours to become even worst? he asked chilly.

"It will soon gone by itself," the girl answered.

Levi walked toward her and (Y/N) moved back few steps but end up hitting the wall and trapped in between Levi's arm.

"This has been two months already and it's still spreading like hell in this building!" he said and banged the wall.
