Zoe Veil, a normal 16 year-old student, or so you would think. She has one "problem" that distinguishes her from others in her year. Her problem is her English teacher, but not in a way in which everyone has problems with their teachers, like simply not getting along very well, or complaining about them giving to much homework to the students. No, Zoe Veil and Bea Courtier did get along well and that is her problem actually. Sometimes she wishes, that Mrs Courtier would just turn evil over night, but that will just never happen. Mrs Courtier is the nicest person Zoe has ever had the pleasure to meet and that´s the reason why she cannot stop thinking about her, at least thats what she is trying to tell herself everyday. She does not want all that, she does not want to like her teacher so much, because that cannot possibly be normal, can it? And even if it is normal, her feelings would never be returned. Unrequited love. So that is her problem. She knows that many teenagers suffer from that, but they could just easily put an end to it and admit their feelings, Zoe cannot just walk up to her teacher and say "Hey, did you get my email, I was really ill on that weekend and did not make it to the theater, so my mother wants me to ask, if we could get the money back... Oh and by the way, I think I love you, wanna go on a date with me?" She would think, she has a mental illness or would just describe it as a phase that would go away, as soon as they would stop talking to each other. Zoe really doesn´t know which one would be worse. At least she could speak with her now, she does not want to think about what could possibly happen, if her teacher finds out about her feelings, which would actually not be that hard. She usually is rather obvious, her gace alwas lingers on her teacher, whenever she can she mentions her, and what ever it takes her she makes sure that she passes her house as often as she can, hoping she would see her. The thing is that she is practically living in the street that is next to her teachers, so she passes her house every day, but she is never lucky enough to actually see her. It is depressing really and if that wasn´t enough she had stress at home too. Her mother would just not leave her alone and her father is currently at the hospital, waiting to be operated, because he has larnyx cancer. It used to be just a tumor in the kidney, but it spread and the doctors did not realise it as they cut the infected kidney out of her fathers body. She was just hoping that her father would get out there soon and will be well again. She is a daddy girl, she loves her father and compared to her mother, he did care about her as well. As her father was diagnosed with cancer, she started cutting herself, her mother did not care about it and would just complain about David (that is her father) being melodramatic and that she would not care if he would die. Yesterday she, Mona, was in a great mood, which already annoyed Zoe, but as she told her why she was so happy, Zoe was ready to kill her. To prevent that from happening she ran to her room locked it, threw herself on her bed and started to cry, because her mother was such a cruel person and because they got a call, saying that her fathers condition got worse, but they could not help him and have to move him to another hospital... again. Funnily enough they had to transport him to the hospital in which he resided before they took him to the Sacred-Hospital, so basically they are at the original position again. While she cried herself into a dreamless sleep, her mother was celebrating with her "bestfriend" who she just happens to always end up in bed with. Yes her mother cheated on her husband and no matter how often she mentions it to her father, he would just simply not listen. He just could not believe her, he loved his wife to much.
