With one last glance into Zoes eyes, Mrs. Courtier turned her attention to her papers again. However she did not seem as concentrated, as she did before. She scratched her correction and corrected it again. Grace often focusing on nothing in particular. Zoe does not notice it, she had grabbed a book, as soon as they had stopped talking. She still enjoys Mrs. Courtier company though, she does not have to speak with you to make you feel welcome and loved. Unfortunately for her, the bell rang only 5 minutes after they had settled in comforting silence and the first students entered the classroom. Most of them not looking pleased at all. Seriously Zoe wouldn´t mind them staying at home at all, that is for everyone, even her best friend Noah, who had just entered and let himself down at the desk opposite hers. "Hey, why are you always in here before me, Zo?" "Maybe, if you would not always turn up late for class Mr. Bodey, you could get here before Ms. Veil does." Bea laughs. "Mrs. Courtier! Are you listening in on our conversation again?", Noah asks seriously. "No, not really. I am actually just sitting very close. I would have to be deaf in order not to hear you. So you better watch out" "If you say so..." Noah mumbled and winked at Zoe. Zoe frowned, because she did not get the message Noah wanted to tell her. "Well students. I hope you prepared well, of course you have. You all want to desperately write that test, don´t you?" Mrs. Courtier smirked, of course she knew that no one wants to write tests and that statement was underlined by a choir of groans that followed her little speech. Every one was joining in the choir, except for one student. No, this student was not Zoe, because even though she knows the vocabs and is quite good in English in general, she just did not like writing tests. So you may want to know who it was, who just stayed quite, smiled and occasionally nodded. The girls name is Brooke and that's basically everything she does in school, smiling and nodding. She still got good grades though, probably because she was the most pretty girl in the whole school. Not that Zoe was not pretty, she just did not have that particularly innocent look on her face.
