Dramatic Flare

"Well that's an entrance" Player says through the phone

"Have to keep things interesting" Carmen responded 

"You are Carmen, didn't expect any less. So, how was it seeing Jules~" Player asked mockingly 

Carmen sighed "You know, that isn't the first time I saw her since I left."

"True but isn't that the first time she's seen you?"

"Ugggh saying it like that makes it sound like I was stalking her" Carmen responded putting her hands on her face

"Is that not what it's called?" Player smirked 

"Ugh I regret telling you." Carmen groaned as she grabbed her phone to lay on her bed

"You should go talk to her!" 

"And say what? I can't just go to her apartment and tell he how I feel." Carmen pushed her face into her pillow

"That is exactly what you can do"

"No! That is the worst plan ever" Carmen says looking back towards her phone

"It is a plan, you have a better one?"

"Yes, in fact I do. It's called: not doing that."

"You have to tell her at some point. If you don't she is going to slip right through your fingers." Player states seriously

"What if she rejects me." Carmen winces enterally at the thought 

"Impossible" Player says matter-of-factly 

"And how are you so sure" Carmen questions

"I just am"

Carmen huffs "Fine, I'll go see her. But I am not telling her. I am simply returning the artifact Paper Star was trying to steal"

"Good enough. I'll book you a flight now. Have fun~" Player teases as he hangs up

Carmen sighs laying on her back staring at the ceiling. "I should let my mom know I'm going back out soon." Carmen thinks to herself. She starts smiling still thinking how amazing it is to reconnect with her mother. She loves having a normal life with her mom but she will always have that urge to take down thieves. Her mother understands and even wants her to keep doing what she loves practically forcing her out the door when Player said that Paper Star was back to stealing. She slides out of bed and makes her way downstairs 

With Julia

She sits in the passenger seat staring out the window lost in her thoughts about the grand appearance of the scarlet thief she has grown an attraction to.   

"Seeing la femme rouge made it seem like old times huh, haha" Devineaux laughs looking slightly at his partner 

"hm? oh, yes, seeing Miss Sandiego was quite a surprise." Julia says getting sucked out of her thoughts.

"Are you alright? You've seemed.. distant after our encounter." Devineaux questioned pulling into a parking space outside Julia's apartment.

"Yes, I am alright. Just, lost in thought. Thank you for taking me home Devineaux." Julia says shyly as she steps out of the car.

"Not a problem at all! And see, no damages on the car! Haha!" The Inspector congratulates himself

Julia laughs slightly waving a goodbye to Devineaux as he drives away. Julia makes her way up to her apartment and sets down her coat and keys.

She sighs as she gets ready for bed. As she opens her wardrobe she spots something red. she grabs it and holds it up. "her coat." Julia thinks to herself. She succumbs to the urge to put it on then she looks at her self in the merroir. Just as she about to say this is weird and take it off to put it neatly back into her closet she hears a voice behind her.

"Red looks good on you."

Julia's heart flips as the low alluring voice hits her ears. Julia whips her head around wide eyes locking on the taller woman's before her.

"Hey Jules"

The voice says again as they walk closer 

"M-miss Sandiego-" Julia stutters  

"Please, call me Carmen"

"C-carmen I- what are you doing here?" 

"Just returning was Paper Star was trying to steal." Carmen said as she put down an orb looking thing on the table next to them.

"R-right. the artifact." Julia stated trying to avoid eye contact.

"And to see you.." Carmen lowered her tone slightly 

"Oh.." Julia was panicking so hard eternally and externally she has no idea how to respond. Julia then realizes she still had Carmen's coat on and starts to take it off

"I should probably-" Julia gets interrupted by Carmen grabbing the collar of the coat

"Don't- like I said, red looks good on you." Julia looks up at Carmen who is wearing her signature smirk 

Carmen was screaming eternally at how cute Julia looked in her coat. It took all her strength to keep her compositor. 

"Why did you come see me?.." Julia questioned unable to unlock her eyes from Carmen's

"Can't I come visit my favorite ACME agent?" Carmen said as she turned around and scanned the apartment.

"I suppose" Julia took the opportunity to slip off the coat and put it back in her wardrobe.

Carmen turned around to see that she took her coat off and gave a slight pout, though she looked adorable in her coat it was pretty long on her and now she can see Julia's figure better.

Carmen turned back around and looked back into the apartment "It's nice in here."

"Thank you.. um, would you like some tea?" Julia suggested shyly still blushing furiously.

"Sure." Carmen looked to Julia with a smile.

Julia swallowed the lump in her throat and walk to the kitchen and into the cabinet

"Anything you prefer?"

"No, whatever you have is fine." Carmen said leaning on the island table behind Julia 

Julia grabs two mugs a few tea packets and sugar and starts filling the mugs with water.

"I've missed you.."

Julia nearly drops the mug
