Chapter 37

A few months had passed and nothing changed. Draco haven't had any time for me. We barely spoke after the confessions. Both of us had tasks. Sometimes, death eaters came to bring me to Voldemort. He still used me for my power.

,,Hey, how you doing?" Grayson greeted me in the hallway. He was always there when Draco wasn't. Neville and Grayson became my closest friends.

,,Hello, um fine." I responded and he stared at me.

,,Don't lie. You look as if you haven't had any sleep last night."

,,I slept well, Grayson." I lied and gave him a warm smile.

,,Alright, if you say so." He shrugged and we walked into the great hall. He went to the Ravenclaw table and I took my seat next to Ruby at the Slytherin table.

We chatted a little bit and breakfast came soon to an end.

The entire day, I was exhausted. After all my classes, I was heading to dinner. I took my usual seat next to Ruby and put some food on my plate.

,,You didn't eat much today, take some of these." She pointed at a plate full of food, but I didn't feel like eating.

,,No, thanks." I said and looked around.

,,(y/n), I don't wanna urge you, but skipping meals is really unhealthy. I just want you to be fine. Eat some food. That's all I want you to do." I looked at her and she smiled.

,,Fine, just for you." I returned the smile.

I began to eat and still looked around and my eyes landed on Harry, who was standing.

I watched him out of curiousity and he looked towards the door. I followed his gaze and saw Draco walking, but he stopped. He turned around and ran out and Harry right after him.

,,Ruby" I interrupted her conversation with someone, who was sitting on her left.

,,Yeah?" She turned her head towards me.

,,I'll come real quick, alright?" I said and stood up without waiting for a responsion.

I walked down the hallway fastly and tried to hear any noises. I heard a loud noise coming from the boys bathroom and opened the door, trying to see either Harry or Draco.

I heard someone whimpering and followed the noise, only to find Harry staring down at Draco.

My eyes widened as I could process what was happening.

,,What did you do." I whispered, barely breathing and collapsed next to Draco. He had the same injuries on his chest as I had, when Pansy used the sectumsempra spell on me.

,,Draco" I whispered through my blurry vision and held him up by his back. He was in my arms, unable to move. He was contoring his face in pain.

,,Draco" I whispered panickingly and tried to meet his eyes. I looked down and even more blood was flowing on the floor.

,,D-don't l-leave." I sobbed as my shaky hand held the back of his hand.

I felt someone shoving me harshly to the side.

,,Out." Professor Snape said and I could barely hear him. I began to panick and my eyes were glued on Draco.

,,Out" he said a little louder and looked at me.

,,Mr. Potter, take her out. Now!" He shouted at Harry as I was unable to move. Harry grabbed my wrist harshly and dragged me out.

As we were in the hallway, he shook my shoulders and tried to get me to my feet.

,,(y/n)! (y/n)! Can you hear me?" He looked into my eyes and my glassy ones met his.

,,How could you." I whispered.

,,What?"

,,You!" I stood up and pointed at him. ,,You knew exactly what the spell causes. You know what happened to me as Pansy casted the spell." I nearly shouted. ,,How could you." I whispered, trying to stay strong.

,,I-I didn't think while-"

,,I hate you!" I spat out.

,,Why do you even care?! That's Malfoy we're talking about." He defended himself angrily.

,,Pardon me? Just because Draco is your enemy, doesn't mean you have to try to kill him!"

He just rolled his eyes annoyed and I scoffed.

,,You don't take me serious, do you?" I asked calmly.

,,He could be a death eater,(y/n)!"

,,That still isn't an excuse to try to kill him!"

,,Whatever."

,,I can't believe you." I rubbed my face angrily. ,,Just- just don't talk to me ever again." I said and walked away.

I couldn't believe him. He knew exactly what the spell causes. He knows what it did to me. He knew how much I suffered from the pain. He knew exactly it almost killed me, yet used it.

I wanted to see if Draco was alright. I wanted to check on him so badly, but I know I'm not allowed to come near him yet.

Besides, it's almost curfew so I went to bed.

,,Draco got injured. That's why I didn't come back." I excused myself as Ruby sat on her bed.

,,You mustn't explain to me where you were if you don't want to, (y/n)." Ruby gave me a warm smile.

,,Thank you, Ruby." I smiled and she returned one.

A few hours passed by, yet I didn't sleep, I couldn't. Ruby was already in a deep sleep, I was staring at the ceiling. I had to see him.

Without waiting any further, I slipped into my slippers and walked quietly out of my dorm. Through the common room and down some hallways, I arrived at the entrance of the hospital wing, where I assumed Draco would be.

I slowly opened the door, only to see the platinum blonde haired boy staring at the ceiling just like I did a few minutes ago. Some hair strands fell on his forehead, his body was covered by his bed sheets.

I slowly walked towards his bed and accidentally made a noise, which caused him to sit up.

,,Who's there." He asked, his eyes wide in fear.

,,It's me." I stepped out of the shadow and his face softened.

,,You can't be here. It's past curfew."

,,Do I look like I care?" I smiled and pulled a chair next to his bed.

,,I'm sorry, I couldn't do much with you in the last w- months."

,,It's alright, Draco. I know you have tasks and I have some too." I rubbed his cheek with my thumb and he held my hand.

,,I love you." He caught me off guard.

,,I love you too." I said and he stared at me. ,,I was worried sick. You scared me, Draco. Don't do that ever again."

,,I won't" he chuckled and leaned forward to kiss my forehead.

,,Don't dare you to leave me." I said as I took a seat next to him, on his bed.

,,I won't leave you, (y/n). I love you forever." He said softly as I played with his hand. I looked up at him, only to see him already staring at me. He looked at me, not saying a word.

,,Excuse me um, I love you." I said innocently and he let out a breath chuckle.

He leaned forward and our lips met. His lips stayed on mine for a few seconds, then he pulled away and pulled me into a tight hug.

,,I won't let you go, not in hundred years." He said and kissed my hair.
