Here's chapter 2! Hope you all enjoy!
I walked down the alley with my hood pulled tightly over my head. I approached the entrance to the building and knocked on the door three times. The door opened with a loud creak and I quickly stepped inside.
"Where's Jasper?" I asked the man who had opened the door.
He pointed towards the back of the room and then turned to the girl standing next to him.
I pushed past them and began making my way through the crowd of people. I suddenly bumped into a large guy with tattoos all over him. "Hey, kid! Why don't you watch where you're going?" He said, rudely.
"Why don't you get out of my way?" I retorted just as rudely.
The guy turned around and I smirked as his eyes widened when he realized who I was. "I'm sorry Casey; I didn't know it was you!"
I chuckled and said, "It's alright Kent."
He smiled at me and I continued to walk towards the door that led to who I needed to find. As I approached the door, I could hear shouts emitting from the other side of it.
"Boy, you can't just leave us!" I heard Jasper yell.
"Oh yeah? Watch me." The other person fired back.
I heard someone, probably Jasper, slam their hands on a desk. "You know what? Leave. Be my guest. But I'm warning you right now, if we find you, which we will, you better run like hell. Not that it'll do any good."
"Whatever." The person said and then burst through the door and pushed past me.
I looked after the guy as he stomped through the crowd, getting slightly worried about what Jasper would do to me once he found out what I was going to do.
I stepped into the room and looked at Jasper who was sitting at his desk with a girl on his lap who was wearing very revealing clothes. If you could even them clothes.
Jasper looked up at me and beamed. "Well if it isn't my favorite person ever!"
I smiled back, but it was forced. Even though I'm grateful that Jasper took me in after my parents were killed, the stuff he's made me do makes me dislike him. "Hey Jasper!"
"What do you need kid?" He asked clapping his hands together.
"I actually came to tell you something that you probably won't like."
His face fell and he grew much more serious. "What is it, boy?"
I hate how he uses the word boy over excessively, it's actually quite annoying. "I'm leaving the gang."
His face reddened and he roared, "What?"
I kept calm and said, "I'm leaving the gang."
He glared at me for a few minutes before finally calming down. "Why are you leaving us?"
"I don't belong here," I simply.
He chuckled humorlessly, "Who does?
"You, obviously." I mumbled.
"Pardon me?"
"Nothing." I said much louder.
"Well if you're leaving, do it. Just don't be surprised when we find you." He said dismissively.
I nodded my head and then walked out of the room and continued until I was out of the building. I walked down the streets until I reached my small apartment and pulled open the door. Stepping around all the boxes, I continued to my room. Sighing as I laid down, I wondered what tomorrow would be like. I was moving to the far end of the city, the good side. I was going to have to get up early because I had to start at my new school tomorrow as well. I drifted off to sleep while I was thinking about tomorrow.

I woke up at five o'clock the next morning to my alarm going off. I groaned and shut it off. After taking a shower, getting dressed, and packing the rest of my stuff, I was on my way to my new house. Once I was there, all I had time to do was put my stuff inside because school started in five minutes. I must've broken five laws though to get there because of my crazy driving.
I burst through the front doors and ran towards the office, but while I was running I ran into someone, which caused them to drop all of their things. I stopped and began to help them pick up their things. "I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention."
"Well no kidding." The girl answered in a snobby voice.
I stopped helping her and just stared at her. "Well, I apologized and you didn't have to be rude."
She stood up after putting everything in her bag and I noticed she had on a cheerleading uniform. Great. "Well you ran into me, idiot." She said rudely, still not looking at me.
"Well you were in my way." I said.
She looked at me then and something in her eyes changed. "Hello, I'm Karlie." She purred holding her hand out.
I looked at her hand, disgusted and said, "Yeah, and I'm late."
She scoffed at me and I continued to run to the office. I ran into the office panting and the lady behind the desk looked at me like I was crazy. "What?" I asked rudely.
"Nothing." She mumbled.
"Then stop staring at me." I said and walked towards her desk.
"I'm sorry."
"I need my class schedule. The name is Casey Dean." I said, growing impatient. I just wanted today to be over.
"Yeah, just a second." She whispered and began stapling a bunch of papers together, quickly.
I guess I shouldn't take my bad mood out on her, but oh well. She handed me the papers and then I went to my class. Let the fun begin!

As soon as the bell rung, I was out of the classroom. Thank god that was my last class of the day because I was contemplating ditching. I got in my car and sped off to my house. When I got inside I tossed my keys on the table and then went upstairs to my room to lie down. I was tired from waking up so early. If you couldn't tell already, I'm not a morning person and when I have to wake up early, things don't go to well for other people around me.
I flopped down on my bed and looked towards my window and what I saw woke me up right away. There, in the house next to mine, was a beautiful girl who had no shirt on. I know it was wrong to stare at her, but I couldn't help it. She was just too gorgeous. She must've felt me staring at her because all of a sudden she turned towards her window and looked horrified. She grabbed a shirt and put it on quickly and then glared at me. I chuckled at how cute she looked and that made her even madder because she walked over to her window and pulled the blinds closed. I was still chuckling to myself as I lay back down. I fell asleep with her brown hair and piercing grey eyes etched into my mind.
