I slowly open my eyes seeing the sun peeking in. The sun.. a source that almost everyone needs except you. Your sun was a person. He has beautiful blonde hair and big ocean blue eyes..

I remember when you started to fall in love with him.. hah. I'm thinking about this like you passed when really you're right next to me..

Setting my hand on top of yours, I look at you just laying there. Peacefully. I glance seeing your dad sleeping while sitting straight up. I'm surprised he can sleep like that. I shiver.. I push my scarf up as I look over seeing you're blonde boy sleep peacefully on the other side of you. I notice the book not set far away from the blondes reach. He fell asleep reading to you..

I check the room for our other friend but nothing. He probably needed the restroom. I squeeze your hand but not too hard. "Mikasa..? What time is it" Armin yawns sitting up to stretch. I look at my phone "it's nine am" I say. Armin nods while holding your hand. He taps his finger on the book.

"Do you.." his ocean eyes looking at your face. "Do you think this was my fault?" He says quietly looking down at your hand. It's not. How were we meant to know this would happen. "No.. you didn't know. I didn't nor did Eren.. don't blame yourself" I hear footsteps getting louder as they approach..

"She's still out.." eren. He's leaning against the door frame holding a bag. Telling by the logo he has food. "Here I got you both something while we wait" Eren says handing me a sandwich with a juice box.

Armin tried to refuse but Eren forced him to take it. "She would want you to eat Armin" I say. He looks over at you then gives in taking a bite of the sandwich..

Taking A bite of mine I think back to when we first met. You were sitting on your front porch looking bored. I have no idea why but I decided to speak to you which seemed very out of character for me to eren at the time..

~Starting from the Beginning~

Mikasa's pov.
"Levi had us scrub the hell out of our desks it was such a pain! I smell like cleaning chemicals now" Eren complains. While listening I notice a girl sitting on her porch. She looks very bored.. without thinking I stop and ask "what's your name" I must've scared her cause she jumped.

"I-im y/n" she says with a slight smile. Returning a smile "my name is mikasa" I look back to eren who looks like he witnessed something unbelievable. "Eren" he gave a nod to y/n. "You want to come with us? We're going to get ice cream" I say offering her to come along.

She looks back at her house but she shakes her head no. "I can't maybe another day but thanks mikasa" she smiles. I nod "well we better get going he's probably waiting for us" eren says grabbing my hand "bye y/n" eren just waves and y/n waves back.

Eren and I are going to meet Armin for ice cream. Y/n probably would have liked to meet him. Eren rambles more about how he dislikes Mr. Ackerman. Though we're still far I notice the blonde sitting on the bench with a book in hand. I wonder what he's reading today.

"Armin!" Eren yells making him jump almost throwing his book. "Eren!" The blonde yells back. "Mikasa" I say making them look at me. "Sorry didn't mean to scare you" "it's alright.." I watch the boys sort that out. "Sorry we're late too someone had to make a new friend" eren says.

Armin looking my way "she looked friendly" I simply say. "Im happy you made a new friend mikasa" armin says. I nod. "So about that ice cream!" Eren yells entering the ice cream shop. I follow close dragging Armin along. I shiver so I push my scarf up.

"So what do you all want" eren says looking over into the many flavors of ice cream. The boys pick out the flavor they want and I chose mine. "You're going to get ice cream in it, give it back" Armin says reaching for his book. "In a second I wanna see what romance novel your reading now~" eren teases.

This only made armin blush. "Come on-" I grab armin's book handing back to him.

"Come on if he wants to read twilight let him read twilight" I say. "No it's not twilight!" Armin defends. It's not. I'm just teasing him. "It's not a romance novel.. more of a mystery.." Armin does like a good mystery.

Walking back the way we came from y/n was gone. She must've went inside since it did get a little colder out. "Eren your hands are getting covered in ice cream" I say reaching into my pocket for a napkin. "So what" he says. His ice cream is melting.

"Quit babying me I don't need your napkin!" He says as I try to clean his hand. He Yanks his hand away launching the ice cream into the air. We watch as it hit the cement. "Great now I don't have any ice cream" eren says. "You have plenty on your hands" Armin says earning a flare from Eren.

I stay silent as eren throws his fit about his ice cream. Fifteen years old and he's throwing a fit about ice cream. "Let's just go" he says in a upset tone. He starts walking with Armin and I following close.

"Eren if you want, you and I can come back and I can pay for your ice cream this time" I say but he shakes his head no. I'll bring it up once he's done pouting, when he's in a better mood he'll want it then. "My turn is coming up I'll see you both later" Armin says waving to us. "Yep" eren says. I wave continuing to follow Eren..
