Daniel's POV:

I wake up as my baby sister, who's 5 months old, cries out loud.

She is sweetest thing ever.

I often bring her to my room and let her sleep here.

She is literally the love of my life.

I open my eyes and glare at the mural art I painted on my front wall.

I love art. I love making sketches of people and stuff. It makes me so calm, it's a meditation for me when I'm sad, angry or bored.

"Ella babyyy!" I groan in a sleepy voice as I cradle her in my arms.

"Daniel, did she wake up?" my mom asks from downstairs as she hears Ella.

I take her outside to my mom.

"awh! Honey come here" my mom says taking Ella in her arms to cradle.

It was sunday morning. As much as I like to study, I love Sunday's.

I look at the time and see that it's 11 o'clock.

I remember that I promised my friends for a football match in the local stadium, where we play, frequently.

I make my way upstairs to my bedroom to get ready.

"uh.. Mom, I'm going to the stadium with my friends" I say kissing her hands.

"Okay honey, just be back soon. We are going to spend some family time at the Jello cafe" mom says.

I nod my head and leave.

...

Soon, I reach at the stadium hall and meet my friends.

Andrew my best friend since we were like 10 or something. Sure, he can be weird sometimes but we all do weird stuff. Dont we?

Then, Omer who I met two years ago when he came to the highschool. Then, there is Alex who is new to our group.

"Sup?" andrew says high five-ing me.

"Our turn is next" alex says watching the team that's playing right now.

We get ready and warm ourselves up.

"hey, why were you late?" alex asks.

"Oh, we all know that. He's a busy guy now" Andrew chuckles and I raise an eyebrow to figure out what's he's talking about.

"We saw what happened last night at your cousin Sadie's house.. You jumped into the pool for that girl" He continues wiggling his eyebrows.

"I was trying to help. It's called humanity" I try to reason.

"Oh yeah. Sure it is" Alex says smiling at Andrew.

I roll my eyes and kick the football towards them.

The coach calls up our names as we enter the ground.

...

"Daniel, you ready?" my mom asks as I lay to watch television.

"Oh.. Yeah" I say immediately remembering the family time.

She takes Ella from the cot and shuts the door as she leaves.

"Where's Dad?" I ask.

"oh.. He couldn't make it" she murmurs sadly.

Honestly,  I'm not surprised at all. He always does that. He barely has time for us or for even my mom.
