"Secrets Or Lies"

M/N was walking to his school before noticing his friends go next to him,he sadly smiled "Why are you guys with me..?".His friends smiled "We know what you're going through,we want to help you heal.You don't have to lie to your older brother that you're happy.",M/N went silent before looking at the school gate."Let's go before we're late for class.." he said before walking in the campus.He went into the classroom and sat down,he avoided looking at the others as he looked out the window.He closed his eyes as he slowly remembered how he lost his parents.He snapped back to reality once class started,his mind still wandering.

San and the others were busy practicing in their company's dance practice room.Mingi suddenly spoke "I know this is random,but did anyone notice how M/N stop shortly when he was about to close the door?I saw his hand slightly shaking before the door fully closed.",San was puzzled "He's usually not like that..I wonder why he did that".Seonghwa crossed his arms "I also heard him mumble about not moving on from something last night when we carried him to the dorm.He sounded anxious when he mumbled..",Hongjoong was confused "I actually noticed that he's barely in a happy mood since the day we went somewhere last month,he just seems to be acting it out".San shrugged "Well,let's focus on the practice and ask him about that when he arrives here.Seonghwa and I are gonna pick him up from school,anyway.",the older didn't know that his own brother was suffering.

M/N was in the bathroom crying to himself,he was holding his phone that had a email saying he was accepted as a trainee in his older brother's agency.He hated every inch of himself,he thought of his existence as equal to a bug's life.The boy walked out the bathroom after wiping his tears,he thought "I have this endless depression and now this....It'll just make it obvious that I'm a disappointment..I feel so sorry for San-hyung".He got his bag that was next to the door and walked out the school since class ended.He put on a false smile when he saw San near the school gate.He ran to the older and hugged him,San grinned before ruffling the boy's hair.The two walked in the car before the younger got a wave from Seonghwa,M/N waved back before sitting down behind his brother's seat.San chuckled "Judging from what you look right now,you must have had either a good or stressful day.",M/N shrugged "I means it always both with a mix of bad and irritating but it was okay~".Seonghwa laughed as he could feel the car start to move "We ordered some takeout at the company so you could eat lunch there",M/N inserted his shaking hand in his back when he heard the statement.He tried to calm himself so he talked to his friend,it did help him until he felt the car stop.He ran out and went into the building.

San chased after him and overheard his younger brother's conversation with someone.The older was shocked when he heard M/N say he was the new trainee,the other members immediately joined in and were clearly taken aback.M/N walked to them and kept his tears in "I g-g-guess you know the things I tried to hide....I'm sorry...",San was already close to tears "Why didn't you tell me you had depression?!You've been pretending all this time so I would be happy?Why are you suffering alone?Answer me,M/N".The boy looked down "I just wanted to see you smile...I didn't want to see you worried...I didn't want to look dependent...I don't want to feel like a disappointment...",San caressed the boy's cheek "What you feel is what I feel.If you're in pain and so am I.If you keep hurting yourself like this,I'll be the disappointment".M/N sobbed and endlessly apologized while the older forgave him so much times.The others just watched as they could feel their heart shatter at the sight.

TIMESKIP

After what seemed to be a sad event,the boys were in the dance practice room eating lunch.M/N was silent as he ate,San ruffled the boy's head since he could feel the shyness his younger brother was feeling after meeting his fellow trainees.Seonghwa suddenly spoke "Hey M/N,are you gonna be a solo or in a group?",the younger answered softly "G-g-group but its a sub-unit of your group...the trainees and I met a while ago and didn't think of a n-n-name yet".San smiled "Well,at least you already got along with them.",Jongho laughed "If you met us during our trainee days,you'd see him try to murder all of us with chicken bones".M/N smiled "There's this boy named Chanyuk and he's so clingy with me,he's supposedly the leader of the sub-unit but he's not even strict".After that statement left his mouth,the boy went on a endless ramble about his fellow trainees.The members listened to him with loving smiles,Mingi could feel his heart palpitate at the teen's smile as he thought : "How talkative of him...how cute..."
