The next day at school, everything was normal. Everyone was smiling, and laughing, which made you very happy to see.
"Y/N? Y/NNNNNN" You turn around to see Hanako.
"Shhhhh. Hanako what?- people are gonna think I'm crazy-" You whisper
"Well that's too bad ehehe. I wanna talk to you~" he gets closer and you turn red
"Sahsuwhwuwheudh" you mumble
"Ugh Y/N you dirty daikon- your almost as dirty as Yashiro" he remarks
Oh yeah. Yashiro. You feel your throat become dry and you know what's about to happen.
"H-Hanako I need to go-" you sound out of breath which makes Hanako worry.
"Y/N? Are you okay-"
"I'm fine. I just- need to do something" You barely get that out before you start coughing. You run to the girls bathroom and start crying.
Why me? You cough. Your chest feels like it's on fire. It won't stop- You start to freak out.
"I-I can't breathe" you cough.
You'll never forget the look on your friends faces as they see you pass out.
They were behind you. The whole time.
You wake up in the nurses office. When you do, you see Yashiro sleeping. Which would normally be a good sight- but you saw her eyes. She was crying. Badly. Her eyes were red and puffy and you could see her tears dried up on her cheeks. You put your hands on your mouth in guilt. You look next to her and see kou holding her close. It looks like he was crying too. You don't know why they were crying over someone like you, but I guess it's the thought that counts.
You quietly get out of the bed and look around. No ones there. You know you need to see hanako even if it's the last thing you do. You weakly limp to the abandoned bathroom when you run out of breath and sit down on a bench for a minute. Once you catch your breath you see the tree- apparently couples get together there.
You chuckle and lean against the tree. You remembered something about Hanako. He's always there whenever you call him. So that's what you do.
"H-Hanako-kun." You whisper. Your eyes feel heavy and you lean farther into the tree. That's when you see the school boy. You cry as he comes closer and closer.
"Y/N? Y/n!!" You feel your whole body shake.
As you wake up.
Drip drip
"H-huh?" You feel something wet on you.
"Y/N I'm so sorry I wasn't a better friend- I didn't get to protect you." You hear a cry. Yashiro?
"God damn it- I'm sorry too- I didn't even notice- ugh this is all my fault" you hear another cry. Kou?
You open your eyes and mumble
"I'm not dead idiots. Why are you crying?"
Yashiro eyes widen as she begins to cry harder. "Y-Y/N! Your alright!-" she hugs your body and cries into your chest.
Kou holds your hand and puts them to his forehead "we're so sorry we didn't notice before-"
"Notice what?" They both looked at you with confusion.
"The flower petals... we watched you-" kou begins.
"Oh.... where's Hanako?" You ask.
"He couldn't bring himself to see you- he thought it was all his fault you ended up like this-" Yashiro replied
"Do you know where he is? Actually I think I know"
You get up and run to the abandoned bathroom despite Yashiro and kou's desperate calls.
I'm too lazy to finish so imagine it happening--
