THIRD PERSON'S POV
At exactly 2 days, Forensic scientists were able to swab the rocks found around Kalien's body down by the river. The female DNA profile matched Kalien, but there was an unknown partial man DNA profile found on the rocks.
Ac and Hector were now very stressed because today is the day that they're going back to Xavier and this is the day of Ac's 'Back to school' they supposed to get home Yesterday but because of the case, they can't.
Ac and Hector are currently in Hector's office. They were both serious right now because they need to finish the case this day too so that they can go home this day. Hector has a lot of works and Ac doesn't want to absent from her class that's why she wants to finish this case immediately.
They are both problematic right now because the swab test did not match Herb the taxi driver and Chris the boyfriend. And they don't have clue in who's the one who KILLED Kalien. Then Ac remembers the socks found near the crime scene. She immediately stands in her seat and calls Chief Paul.
While Hector is standing in front of the whiteboard looking at some information about the case. He's wondering too who's the one who killed Kalien.
"Maybe there are loopholes that will help us to know who's that person," Hector said on his mind.
Back to Ac, after a few rings, Chief Paul answers the call. Ac understands that Chief Paul can't immediately answer a call because they are all busy with this case.
A few minutes ago she remembered the socks that found near the crime scene. She's wondering why there are socks near the crime scene?
There could be possibilities that someone forgot or left it there intentionally or not and the owner of that socks just swim at the lake but if he or she swims in that lake. He or She should take the socks too right? or the owner really left them there?
Ac scratched her hair. She really needs to talk to Chief Paul if he still has it. Why did they forget about it though?
"Hey, Chief Paul! I just wanna ask if you still remember the socks that found near the crime scene?"Ac asked.
"Oh shit! Why did I forget about that?! Yeah I still have it. I'm sorry, I forgot about it! If I didn't, maybe this case is already done. I'm really sorry!" Chief Paul exclaimed.
Ac sigh. She's afraid that it's gone. "Thank god you still have it! Don't worry, I forgot about it too, so we're even. By the way, can you bring that to the forensic scientists, so we can check if there is an identification of the suspect?"
"Oh, yeah sure! Don't worry, I will give you an update later." Chief Paul said.
"Thank you, Chief Paul!" Ac said then end the call.
Ac's thought that the socks might be part of the crime.
