Dane had approached Nicklaus after discovering what had happened to Beatrix. The first year specialist knew about the ice fairy's relationship with Beatrix, and knew he would want to help her escape.

They had been trying to come up with a plan for over a week. The two met up one night and hid behind the trucks outside of the air fairy's prison.

As they observed the specialists on guard and came up with a plan, they saw a familiar fire fairy also hiding. The two shared a look and decided to approach her.

Dane went ahead and tapped Bloom on the shoulder once they were a short distance away, startling her.

"Late night walk?"- asked Dane

"Hm... yeah!, I needed some air"- said Bloom, rushing to come up with an excuse.

"This particular air?" - teased Nicklaus.-"Look, we know what your doing"- he finally said, wanting to get straight to the point.

"You don't know anything"-replied Bloom with an awkward smile.

"You wanna talk to her, don't you?"-Dane pushed Bloom.-"Bloom, we can help you"- Dane explained.

"What do you mean?"- asked Bloom, now intrigued.

"Dane's guard shift is tomorrow night, maybe you'll need some air then too"-Nicklaus implied, wanting Bloom to go talk to Beatrix with him so she could help them release her.

Having done what they came to do, Dane and Nicklaus left.

Little over a week after Beatrix and Bloom's joyride, the girls in the Winx suite woke up early to train with the specialists.

Headmaster Silva and Headmistress Dowling, wanted them to train in pairs. They wanted the students to be prepared and able to defeat themselves now that Burned one attacks had become much more frequent.

Juniper knew the training was to be taken seriously. However, she couldn't help the butterflies in her stomach due to the prospect of spending the entire day with Bellamy. She hoped they would be partners.

The ice fairy quickly got dressed in workout clothes, before joining the other girls for breakfast. She was still upset that Stella had left, but realised that her best friend wouldn't just leave her.
Therefore, she concluded that it was most likely the Queen's fault.

Bellamy had used his influence to pull a few strings to ensure that he and Juniper would be working together.

The two worked together in perfect harmony, only Sky and Bloom being close to their skill and teamwork.

The couple had passed every test, only the final hedge maze left. The two stood back to back alert, ready for the Burned one replica to attack them.
