As I woke up, I felt the rays of the sun coming down on me through the windows. I slightly covered my eyes as my eyes weren't adjusted to the sudden light change. I quickly let out a yawn and looked over to my alarm clock. "Shoot!" I had about 20 minutes before school started and I had barely gotten up. "Crap, crap, crap" I quietly whispered underneath my breath. I quickly got up from the bed and ran over to pick up a floral dress. "This works." I said quickly picking it up and getting it on. I let out a shout to tell my dad to wake up, "Dad wake up!" I yelled across the hallway running down to the kitchen. I quickly grabbed a piece of bread and placed it into the toaster.

I heard the loud noises of my dad's footsteps on the stairs, "Sam! You're going to be late! You have an alarm clock for a reason!" I looked at him and gave him a small smirk, "Well it isn't my fault, the alarm never went off." He rolled his eyes as he shooed me away to go get my shoes on. "I'll get the toast ready; you need to get some shoes on and get the staff ready to fly you to school." I looked at him and nodded quickly getting on some sandals to match with my dress. I ran back up to him quickly grabbing the piece of toast.

He quickly looked me up and down and gave me a small smile, a tear daring to come out of his blue eyes. "Dad you alright?" he quickly shakes his head to get out of his trance and nods. "Yeah, I'm okay you just remind me of your mom." I look at me confused but nodded. I quickly waved goodbye as I left to get on the staff for school.

I gave the staff a small smile as a got on it, "Let's head to school now." I said giving it a big smile. The staff made a noise and set off for my school. I sighed as I saw my dad's face appear into my thoughts from just a second ago. I never knew my mother, nor does it help he refuses to tell me anything about her. I know little about my family or heritage. I only know about my uncle, his name is Henrey, but he's definitely not good. He works for a Villan group called the ISA, or more formally known as the injustice society of America. But believe it or not my father works for JSA, or formally known as the Justice society of America. My family definitely has a wide range of people.

Luckly he isn't my biological uncle, he only is my uncle because of marriage, my Aunt Merrie, married him because she thought she could turn him good and lead him into heroism. But that didn't work as she supposedly drowned in a pool.

I quickly let out a sigh as the staff started moving down as we made our way towards the school. "Dim it down now." The staff made a noise and dimmed its bright lights. As it brought me down, I got ready to jump off it. "Have a good day, make your way to Sylvester now. I'll see you after Color guard." The staff made a noise, nudged me on the side, and left. I gave off a slight smile and jogged to the front of the school to enter for the day.
