I-LAND part 2

The vocal testing was up next. Luna was looking at the clipboard that they had brought with them. She looked at the parts then the contestants who'll be singing the parts. She flipped through it while the boys were just looking at her.

"Ni-Ki-kun, you're part 1 right?" Luna asked the brunette guy while looking at his direction. Luna realized what she said. "Ah sorry about that" Luna said shyly. The young girl was used to calling younger people with Japanese honorifics.

Since she knew Ni-Ki was Japanese and she's Japanese herself. "Yes and it's fine Luna 선배님" Ni-Ki replied. He reassured the girl that it was okay.

Luna gave him a smile. "Let's hear your part" producer Rain said breaking the interaction between the two. The trainees were still out of breath since they just danced. Ni-Ki started singing his part.

The boy's voice cracked in the high part of his voice. Luna was thinking of something while he was singing. "Ni-Ki, are you sure you can sing this part?" producer Rain asked the male a little harshly.

The tone of the older male's voice got Luna's attention. The girl looked up from the clipboard she was looking at and directed her gaze at the younger male who looked a little scared. The girl just continued looking at him, waiting for his answer.

"Yes" Ni-Ki replied with a little confidence in his answer. Producer Rain looked at the girl beside him and Luna looked at his eyes. Her stare was cold and her expression was stoic. She looked scary.

The vocal checking continued until all the parts had been sung. Luna's expression didn't even soften when the other trainees were singing. She may look like someone displeased right now but that's her expression when she wants to focus on things.

Luna's expression soften by the time they finished. She let out a sigh and smiled softly. "Sorry for looking displeased. I don't usually talk or show emotions when I focus on something" Luna explained while rubbing the back of her neck.

"I thought you were mad at me for something" producer Rain said with a sigh of relief. Luna giggled softly. The evaluation finished with some more tips from the judges. Luna got to talk to the I-LANDERS while giving them the tips when performing.

Luna was laughing with the trainees and was having a good time. She got to Ni-Ki who still looked a little sad from his feedback. Luna gave him a soft gaze and pat his back. The male looked up to see the female beside him giving a soft smile.

"Luna 선배님" Ni-Ki said in surprised. "Don't be too hard on yourself. You wanted part 1 and that's totally fine Ni-Ki-kun. If you can't reach the high parts, don't stress about it. Just focus on your performance tomorrow and do your best. Don't regret anything afterwards because you knew you did all that you could" Luna advised the male while patting his back.

The younger male looked at the girl and found her looking at him already with a soft smile on her face. Ni-Ki's heartbeat gave a thump. He was flustered at the moment but he didn't show it. "Luna it's time to go" producer Rain called the girl.

Luna nodded and bid her good bye to Ni-Ki. When she was walking to the exit, she accidentally bumped into one of the trainees. 'Ah sorry" Luna apologized and looked up to meet face to face with Park Sunghoon.

The male apologized as well and Luna nodded and walked away. The two judges exited the place and went back to the production room. Luna was zoning out. Her heart was beating. Was it... love at first sight?
