Hinata's Funeral

Kuroo's POV

With Hinata dead and out of the way, I'm one step closer to having Kenma all to myself without any interferences. Which is great. My Kitten is going to have to suffer a little, and even though I hate seeing him sad, I like the pleasure of having him to myself more than having to have my time split with him. I want his undivided attention like Hinata did. And I think it's working. Kenma's been playing less video games lately and started cuddling me more. I'm pleased with the results.

Hinata's funeral was boring. The entire Karasuno team was there, each sobbing their eyes out, including Kei Tsukishima, who usually is the meanest, saltiest person you'll ever meet. Guess he did care after all. Kenma cried an ocean seeing Hinata's pale, non-lively body laying in a coffin. Tobio Kageyama suffered an unusual amount, as well. I suppose when your spiker commits suicide you do have a reason to cry. I've heard Hinata helped Kageyama realise how much of a jerk he used to be, too. Either way, Hinata being caring and helpful or not, he's gone now.

Kenma's speech for Hinata almost left me in tears. "Shoyo was my very best friend and always was there for me when I had no friends but him. He would stay up until 3 AM to ensure I was happy. On those nights, we called and played video games together, such as Minecraft, Call of Duty, Among Us.." He said, trying to not burst into a volcano of erupting tears and sobs. "Shoyo helped me find out so many things about myself I couldn't even figure out alone. Shoyo was, and will always be, the best person to ever exist on this planet."

I was infuriated that he wouldn't have put me in his speech. After all, I helped him cope with Hinata's death. Of course, I was the cause of it, but Kenma didn't need to know that, so I'd like to keep it the way it is now. He doesn't know.

Kageyama's speech blew me away. "Shoyo Hinata. The one person who cared about me enough to see through my diva attitude and see that I could bring out greatness in a team with his help. If I hadn't met him, I guess I still would be the giant jerk I was in middle school. And.." He started breaking into tears. "Without him, I wouldn't know what love is. I wouldn't fucking know how much one person can make your heart feel like you just ran a marathon just because they walked in the room and smiled at you. I wouldn't know how to bond with anyone or how to even socialize without being hated. So.. Thank you.. If you're listening.. Boke.." Then he quickly went back to his seat.

So that explains why he was so sad when Hinata died. He probably cried an ocean just like Kenma, probably the entire world's supply of water in his own home, and probably would continue when he returned home.

Love makes us do some weird shit, doesn't it?

Okay, wtf?

A few hours ago this story had 200 reads and now it's at 300. WTF HAPPENED OVER THOSE HOURS?!

I'm sorry if I'm being annoying with these, but jeez! It's been only about two weeks, maybe not even that!

As much as I would like to create a new book for each of these ships right now, I believe it would be best to continue and finish my current stories before making more, as I'll end up getting overwhelmed that the stories are not complete. Yes, ideas come, but I will set them aside (Not a Pretty Setters Squad joke- 0-0..) for later.
