"You know what Ness, instead of sulking to this dark room of yours why don't you sign up to an online dating app, like Tinder? It will surely helps you get out of your hellish break-up. Let's face it you're not into long distance or something. Come on I'll help you out"  - Ava's been pestering me for weeks now about dating sites. Like hell no! I'm not desperate enough to try.

Ava was my yaya's daughter and has been a long-time friend of mine since her mother used to carry her to our house when we were kids.

"Av, shut it! I'd rather be busy than getting myself to that cheap boyfriend finder."

"Oh really? Then just because I've found my afam at dating sites makes me cheap too." - she commented hurtful. Well she's already married to her Fiancee when Robert first landed in the Philippines. Of course I'm happy for her but I just find it weird.

"Hey, sorry i didn't mean that.. I mean I don't disgrace people who met the love of their life online and  least of all, you. But you know my stand in there, so shut it. Okay? I'll be fine, it's just another break-up." - i reassuringly hug her. I always appreciate Ava for sticking by me during our youth. My parents used to travel for our textile import-export company, and I was always left alone with my yaya, our chef, and a driver, so when Ava became my playmate, I was extremely happy. My parents sponsored Ava's tuition fees from high school to college, thus we graduated the same year, course and University.

"Yah I know. But once and for all enjoy life, Ness. Don't view relationship as part of work too. You're so stiff and cold, and change your wardrobes for goodness sake! You are a very beautiful woman that's been hiding to  these lose t-shirts and pajamas. You run a perfect business so don't be just so simple. Let's make those ex-s of yours regret what they've actually lost. Please?"

"Okay, Av. I give up. Let's try that on some other days. Just not now." - i kissed her cheek signed that I'm done with the conversation.

"Alrighty. At least now I got your words. So I'll go back to Robert, he's in living room by the way. And he wants to see you. So get your ass outta there." - she said grinning from ear to ear.

"Hahaha, whatever Av. Be there in a bit."

I changed my pajamas to some lose shirt and a short. Ava is right, I seldom wear dresses as I prefer denim's. I have my own candle shop aside from assisting my parents with their textile business. My candle business has become a success that I now supply scented candles and DIY supplies to supermarkets and commercial establishments.

"Hey, Rob. How are you?" - i asked Robert as he hugs me. Robert is a pilot to Cathay Pacific and he's here for a vacation.

"Sweetheart, Ava and Robert had booked tickets for us to Balesin. So your Dad and I was thinking about going too, well of course with you. What do you think?" - it's Mom, ever since I started working with them - they always made time to bond, may it overseas or domestic.

"Av, you didn't mentioned it."

"It's a surprise, and you should act like one." - she shrugs while looking teasefuly to Robert

"Why would I? You both do that everytime Rob's here."

"See, Tita? She isn't surprised at all hahaha."

"Well, Ava. You know her." - Mom second demotion while hugging Dad

"Why, I'm not surprised too Tita." - Ava said clasping her hand looking like disappointed but I know she's celebrating inside.

I just roll my eyes to them. They always do that though.

So, welcome Balesin then!
