Prologue

History of Werekind and the prophecy of Luna

Our world is made up of many magical elements, many different kinds of supernatural species lived in silence on the green planet and one of those creatures are werewolves, the creatures of lycanthropes. They are half-human and half-wolf being and are the absolute favourite creation of Selene herself. But how did they arrived here? How did those magical beings start to live on Gaia's land?

It all started with Selene, moon goddess. She's the lovely princess loved by everyone in the eternal realm. Her skin is as bright as moonshine reflected on pearls, her hair is said to be as dark as night, her eyes are her most magical features, they can capture the heart of any living being on this earth.

Once upon a full moon, Selene descended to earth, everywhere she walked night flowers bloomed, everywhere she looked shined under her soft gaze. Even though she was a thief who stole many hearts of everyone on Gaia's land she eventually got hers stolen.

Thus began her epic love story, the tragedy which became the origin of lycanthropes and the haunting beginning of hurdles for werekind

Selene, the eternal beauty of the night once wanted to see her children werewolves who roamed on planet Gaia and worshipped her, she was welcomed with warmth when she descended to Aurota, one of the most beautiful countries on Gaia's land. It was a beautiful sight of greenery before her eyes and she was a beautiful sight to watch as she looked like an angel.

Selene disguised herself as a peasant girl living in the countryside, it was close to the forest which made her wish a lot easier as she visited them whenever she pleased, and they welcomed her of course, who could say no to such an angelic beauty.

She was loved there, werewolves who lived in Aurota showered and spoilt her with their endless love and warmth, many young wolves even fell in love with her and one of them was Marcel, the one who successfully captured the heart of the moon goddess.

His smile has the night stars she grew up with, his smile seemed brighter than the light of the sun himself, he was a piece of wonder to hang out with. Selene and Marcel fell in love, his happiness lied in her arms while her solace was his embrace, this is when she wanted to create destined soul-mates for the werewolf-kind.

Soul mates are assigned at birth, they find each other when they reach the age of mating, they will unconditionally fall in love and die in each other's arms. One can never survive without their other halve. The werewolves rejoiced when the moon goddess announced this, they were truly blessed.

Selene soon mated with Marcel and gave birth to tons of pups, thus marking the beginning of Lycans. They inherited her divine power and spell-bounding beauty, Lycans though less in quantity yet possess unimaginable power and qualities. They are the true offspring of the moon goddess Selene.

Everything went amazing for Selene in her time on the earth, she had the perfect family and boundless happiness until the disaster emerged.

A rouge, an aggressive inhumane werewolf, who completely lost his morale and was rejected by his kind made an appearance again in her life, he couldn't believe that the angelic girl he fell in love with has been mated to another male wolf, he didn't like it, he wanted her for himself and she could only belong to him.

So he did countless attempt to court her again, only to get rejected by her of course but that in no way stopped him. He next targetted her mate, Marcel. He tried to challenge him or attack him, and again he was failed countless times and this still did not stop him.

This enraged rouge partnered himself with hunters of human-kind, who are the well-known enemies of all the supernatural. The hunters who were obsessed with the idea of possessing the earth and ruling over all other creatures were ecstatic of his proposal and soon began the deadly massacre of were-kind. They killed many werewolves, plundered and slaughtered many packs, they were like a deadly plague under the guidance of rouge.

Werewolves began hiding and did their best to defend their kind, the moon goddess's heart was filled with pain and anger at the betrayal from one of her children. The rouge managed to kill her lover, right before her eyes as she desperately tried to protect their pups, which rooted the great battle of Cera-tatus which ended with the elimination of the rouge by the moon goddess.

Selene later departed from earth upon the call of gods, and her descendants ruled the were-kind yet still, the danger from hunter didn't die down. And the wolves who were rejected, banished or went rogue are named the traitors of Selene.

But the threat from hunters still haven't vanished yet, they massacred the young wolves whenever they found them, the devasted werekind sought their mother moon goddess for a solution, and she sent an Oracle who recited the prophecy

It was said in the prophecy that she will return to save the werekind, and that child would be the mate of a lycan king, from then on the wolves waited and waited for the return of their moon goddess and the revolutionary king from the silent Lycans

This is the history of our werekind
