Folding my last outfit and stuffing it in my (very full) bag, I call Phil.
"Hey y/n!" Phil says.
"Hey Phil! I was just calling to let you know I'm pretty much packed. How far away are you guys?" I respond as I begin to put my phone and charger in my practically exploding bag.
"We're still about an hour away, Techno doesn't like driving at night" Phil says, switching tabs to check google maps.
Finally getting my bag shut after what felt like the biggest tug of war game in my life, I smiled and said, "Alright, check in on Will and Niki for me will you?"
"Sure n/n, see you soon!" Phil says, I can hear Techno and Ranboo saying goodbye as well, and I hang up.
Now that I'm packed, I don't have much else to do. My mom insisted on writing a checklist, so I double check I have everything. Well I put on my third outfit of the day, my mom calls me downstairs to eat. I quickly run downstairs and grab the waffles she had made, I was starving.
I try to just leave right away, but of course my mom has questions.
"N/n, you're sure they aren't kidnappers?" my mom asks, presumably joking
I laugh and say, "Yes mom, I stay in discord calls with kidnappers and run away with them. You raised a fantastic child."
My mom scoffs and proceeds to pester me about my packing.
"How many outfits did you pack?" "Uh like 5 idk?" "What about your electronics? Are you bringing your switch?" "Yeah that's like the one thing I won't forget"
By the time she's done, I've finished my waffle and it's been almost 30 minutes. Why is she like this I think as I walk back up to my room. I sit down on my bed and try to distract myself from all the worries flooding my head. After a while of sitting there staring at my room, I decide to boot up my pc to call Tommy, I didn't want to get my phone out of my bag.
My pc takes a while to wake up, it's a bit old. Once it's finally ready I open discord and click tommy's profile. I notice he had dm'd me a few times since I last checked.
