"And he's out! Black Rose is the remaining champion!" Called the ref as I stood up. He took my arm and held it high to show I won. Like they didn't already know.

I heard cheers from each direction. The ref put my arm down and I advanced into the crowd to collect my winnings.

"Nice job out there, kid!" Said the owner of the warehouse, Tucker. We had a table where he served drinks, like a bar. He was a man in his early thirties, and he used to be a racer, though he retired after an accident. He was left unscathed, though I could tell it really shook him. He is the closest thing I have to a parent, and the number of times he's said he's single for life is too many to count, so he doesn't have any kids.

The abandoned warehouse may be called an abandoned warehouse, but that doesn't mean that it isn't really nice. There was a gym where I worked out (for free, unlike the rest of those neanderthals, thanks to Tucker), a bar (that Tucker installed by himself when he found this place), a racing track that goes into the woods (so we wouldn't get caught too easily), and, of course, a raised fighting ring.

"Thanks, Tuck. Now, give me the dough before I flip you." I said with a smirk.

"Fine, as long as you drop some of that attitude." He replied. He knew I wouldn't flip him.

"Fine." I said, and he handed me the pile of money. We both laughed, and I came around the plastic table and gave him a hug.

"Alright, I'd better go." I said.

"Be safe, Rose." He replied. He called me Rose, so no one would know who I was (I always wear a hoodie that covers my face enough, and I never give my opponents much time to comprehend who I am). My name's really Avery Gray.

"You know I will."

I walked out to my black McLaren 570GT, unlocked it, and got in. I put the key in the ignition, put it in drive, and went to my small rental house.

4:37 A.M.

That was the time on the clock, and I had school tomorrow.

'Well, might as well just skip it.' I thought in my head, heading to my tiny room.

Yes, I had enough to buy a extremely nice sports car, and would probably enough for a nice house, but I didn't really need it, and this rental may have a small house space, but it had a two car garage. Yes. I have a second car, though this one is smaller so I won't attract attention at school.

I crashed down on the uncomfortable bed, not even bothering to change into my pajamas, and quickly went to sleep.

...

My alarm clock went off at five A.M. and I startled awake. I really don't know why I purchased the damn thing, cause it honestly sounds like a police siren. It only shut up when my hand smashed down upon the stop button.

I got up and went to my small closet where all my clothes were stuffed inside, and picked out a cropped cold-shoulder gray sweater, and some ripped black jean shorts. The outfit wouldn't be complete my lace up heeled black boots.

I put my makeup on (a slight smoky eye, small wings, and my favorite shade of lipstick), and put my hair in a messy bun.

"Brace yourself for another day of hell." I muttered quietly to myself.

I walked out to my gray 2016 Chevrolet Malibu after I grabbed my bag, and drove to school. I parked in the middle of the parking lot, so there wasn't a lot of walking till I got to the double doors to the public high school, adjusting my bag.
