I drug my suitcase up to the front door of the group home.

The worker offered to carry it but of course stubborn and now bitter me declined a bit rudely.

He rang the door bell.

A tired looking lady opened the door.

"Why hello" she said a little too cheerful.

"Hey" I grumbled.

"You must be Mikalay"

"You got that right " I say with a fake smile.

"I'm sorry for your lost." My smile faltered.

I'm trying to be nice to you and you have to bring that up.

I stop myself before I open my mouth and say that outloud.

She doesn't know better.

Everybody says it.

"Jordan! Come and show the new girl her room!"

"Jordan will be your roomate." The lady says as a shortish girl with brown hair walks down the stairs.

She's kinda cute.

What? Surprised?

I'm kind of bi but I'm pretty sure I like boys actually it's all just a constant battle in my head but that is irrelavant at the moment.

"Hey" she smiles.

That smile...

"Oo and I'm Rhonda by the why" says the lady.

"Nice to meet you Rhonda" I say still glancing at Jordan.

"So this is our room" says Jordan as we walk into an upstairs room.

"I would say go meet the other girls but part of me thinks your not up for tjat so just get settled in and take a nap if you want dinners not till five" then she walked out after I said thanks.

I looked at the clock. It was only 2.

I sat down and wrote in my jornal about Jordan.

I looked at all my other confused entries and grunted at myself I wish I could just figure this out.

I fell asleep reading with my journal in my lap.

******

I woke up and grabbed for my jornal that wasn't there.

"Hey-"

"Oo sorry I didn't know you were awake."

I looked over to see her with my jornal.
Oo Shit.
"Hey what are you doing with that nosy?!"

"You know..instead being so hard on yourself just cut your hair it's obvious that's what you want.."

"What are you.." but then I realized what she was talking about and got real quite.

"Its fine if people judge you I'm pretty sure you'll have more supporters then haters"

And with that..she walked out leaving me to my own devices.
