Chapter 20: Two Months And Two Weeks

Katerina woke up in Ian's room. “Oh my god why am I still here?” She hopped up from his chair.

“What's going on?” Ian asked rubbing his eye's.

“I fell asleep last night while we were doing geometry. My mom is going to kill me. I have to go home now!” Katerina said collecting her things then a small journal  fell out her bag onto his floor. She was in a rush so neither of them paid any mind to it.

“When will I see you again?” Ian asked

“Around!” Katerina said then rushed out his room to downstairs and out his house.

Katerina was driving to her house as she begins thinking about what happened between her and ian two months and two weeks ago.  Why she has avoided him but seeing him again has triggered the memories.

Two Months & Two Weeks Flashback

After katerina first date with Zane seeing ian at the same restaurant with his family. She focused on getting her life back on track with school. She started feeling nausea after cheerleadering practice so she went to the nurse's office. "I don't know what's wrong with me." Katerina said sitting on the check up table.

"You don't have a fever so that's a great sign. Have you came on your period?" The nurse asked after examining her forehead

"I think it will come one day this week but that's a normal thing right?" Katerina asked

"What is the usual timing of your cycle?" The nurse asked

"I should've been on a week ago. But I had this big fight with Ian and everything has been stressful at school since. Now that I'm doing better it should come. ” Katerina said

“Okay, im going to need you to give some urine on this stick right here.” The nurse said handing Kat a pregnancy test kit.

Katerina looked down at the box and became nervous. She took a deep breathe then went into the bathroom to take the test. Then she returned and waited with the nurse. The thoughts of her and Ian making love ran through her mind. The way he made her feel before she made the decision to give him her virginity afterwards.

“It's ready now. ” The nurse announced interrupting Kat thoughts.

“What it says?” Katerina asked

“It says you're pregnant dear.” The nurse said and it echo through katerina mind.

“Can I do anything else for you?” The nurse asked

“Can you please call my mom? I want to go home. ” Katerina said beginning to sob

“Okay.  But you will need to see your regular doctor soon.” The nurse informed then went to call katerina mom.

Flashback Ended

Natasha opened the door to see katerina trying to come inside. “Where have you been?” She said looking into katerina eye's.

“I was doing homework with Ian so much that I fell asleep, mom. I'm sorry it won't happen again. Please don't be mad at me.” Katerina said walking inside their house.

“Robert called and told me you were there but your father wants to know if you will be attending his wedding next weekend.” Natasha said

“I think I have finals to prepare for next week. ” Katerina said going up the stairs to her room.

“You should give it a thought at least. You're going to be seeing him again soon.” Natasha said

“Sure!” Katerina mumbled then went into the bathroom to turn on the shower.
