Katerina got out the shower wrapped a towel around her. Then she went to search her closet. She stumbled upon a two piece black and white pencil skirt suit. She remembered ian telling her about Paris funeral. It been a few days since she seen him. Since their fight ian has been keeping his distance from her. Even at school she noticed he just walk the other way when she's in the hallway. She took the suit into the bathroom.
Ian showed up at Paris funeral in his black tuxedo. He was greeted at the door by Paris mother. "Thank you for coming sweetheart."
"There's no other place i would be."Ian said with a slight smile then went inside the house. Some students and teachers also staff members from their school was there.
"I would like to start this off by saying thank you to all Paris classmates for coming. She was really looking forward to her junior prom and senior year with all of you. Especially this guy who would've been her date. He's going to come up here to give us some words about Paris." Mrs. Brady said
Katerina walked through the door as ian stood in front of everyone. He noticed then he smiled at the crowd. “I met paris during her freshman year. I was the new guy here and she took me under her wing. There wss times i had to remind her that im the oldest amongst us both.” He teased
Everyone laughed
“Paris had this thing were she went very strong for what she wanted. She didn't know how to give up even when she should. She taught me what strength and courage look like.” He looked at katerina
She stared into his eye's
“She will always be remembered for exactly who she was. Rest easy old friend.” He ended his eulogy.
“Thank you,Ian.” Mrs Brady said taking the floor.
Ian nodded then placed a rose on top of paris casket. He went into the dining room for some water.
“I know this isn't easy for you.” Katerina said walking over to him.
“You're here too.” Ian reflected
“She meant something to you a while back. She hated me since i came to that school.” Katerina reflected
“Paris was jealous of you,kat. You survived her.” Ian reflected
“You survived paris how?” Darnisha asked
“We were having a private conversation.” Ian reflected
“If katerina is the reason my best friend is dead i have every right to know!” Darnisha said forcibly loud
“Darnisha,don't do this here.” Gigi said entering the dining room
“We all know katerina hated paris. Why is she here anyway. She's standing here when it's her who belongs in there!” Darnisha yelled
Gigi slapped darnisha across the face. Katerina stood beside gigi and ian stepped in between them. “Darnisha,you are making a fool of yourself. Stop it now this is not about you!” He reflected
“You are ruining your own best friend funeral.” Katerina said
“What is going on in here?” Mrs Brady asked
“Ian and katerina are covering up something about Paris death.” Darnisha said
Mrs Brady turned to where ian,katerina and gigi were standing but they were gone.
“What happened in there?” Wade asked driving the getaway car
“Darnisha was becoming unhinged so i slapped her.” Gigi said sitting in the passenger seat
“Why?” Wade reflected
“Because she's upset that paris is dead and she think i have something to do with it.” Katerina spoken up
“Paris death is my doing but it's Paris fault.” Ian confessed
Wade and gigi became stunned. Wade drove them all back to Ian's crew secret spot.
“How did you kill her?” Gigi asked
“Paris held a police gun to my head and ian saved me from her.” Katerina confessed
“A police gun? What? How? When?” Wade wondered
“It was after i found out Paris was responsible for the accident that nearly killed me. She was dangerous towards me and kat. We had taken her to the police. When we all got to the station she broke loose and tried to kill kat. I wasn't going to let that happen.” Ian explained
Gigi smiled then looked over at Katerina who nodded.
“You really have something special in Ian.” Gigi said alone with katerina
“You think so?” Katerina asked
“He killed for you. He is about to catch a lot of heat from paris crew once darnisha tell them what happened at the funeral. Don't you think so?” Gigi reflected
“I love him so much gigi.” Katerina confessed with tears in her eyes
“I see why.” Gigi said hugging katerina
“You killed for your girlfriend huh?” Wade asked handing ian a root beer bottle outside on the back porch.
“I never thought i could but with kat i feel like i can do anything. She made me believe that the sky's the limit maybe. Your the first person im telling this to.” Ian confessed
“You know i would never tell your secrets. You are my brother and brother's hold each other no matter what.” Wade reflected
“That's our motto.” Ian reflected
Katerina came out to the back porch. “Can we talk?”
“I'm about to go show gigi the ropes to around here.” Wade reflected then went inside the house
“What you want to talk about?” Ian asked
Katerina started kissing him passionately.
