To the Moon and Back
Sometimes I forget what it feels like to be on Earth. You lose track of days and moments when you're stuck on Mars. Days and moments become a blur. Life becomes intangible, You become so small out here. We're small on Earth, but seeing an endless, vast amount of space makes the mind realize how insignificant we really are in the galaxy.
I let out a soft moan, pulling at Val's hair. He licked small circles around my clit, making my body tingle and race with sensations. I was captivated by a tidal wave of ecstasy.
"You like that?" I bit at my lip, shaking my head in approval. "Good boy," He went back to his service. His hand caressed through my fur, my tail swishing along the bed. It wasn't long before his fingers entered me, rubbing at this spot deep inside of me.
"I-I'll cum..." My claws dug into the bed. I was reaching my climax. I was panting and writhing in pleasure.
"Cum for me then," The mix of his tongue and fingers sent me over the edge. I flooded the bed in juices. Val looked content as I shook, licking me cleaning after another orgasm. We had been trading pleasure for the last couple of hours. Our tasks for the day were done, so we had plenty of time to enjoy each other.
"It's so hot when you cum like that! Makes me feel like I'm a god!" I laughed, Val's ears rose in joy. The young bat was the sweetest man I could call my own. I was lucky to have gotten this mission with him.
"You're good at what you do! I can't help what I enjoy!" He laid back on the bed with me, petting the patch of blue fur on my thigh. I loved him.
"I love you," It was like he read my mind, "You're honestly the only man I want for the rest of my life!" He cuddled me. I cannot wait to get back to Earth, we can get our bed and pets again!
"I love you too! When we get back home I want to go out! Like a night on the town out! We can dress up and get a reservation at a restaurant! We deserve it"
"I agree! I miss home!" Val sighed.
"I know babe, but the good news is that if we can't find any life up here by the end of the week they have to bring us back!"
"It's been months though Ryn, and it's like another month to get back home or something...it just feels like we may never get to see anything else besides this. It just sucks...""I know, and this isn't forever hun, and at least we have each other!" Val smiled, I felt him fall at ease.
"That southern accent of yours always knows how to make everything sound pleasing!" He chuckled, standing up, "You're my home either way. I guess we could go check so stuff out, walk around, or something. We've been in this room for a bit yeah?"
"A few hours, so yeah we should probably check around yonder and whatnot," It didn't take us long to get dressed. The suits we wore were very Evangelion 3.0, so a pair of boxers and a zipper in the back. Underneath the heavier space suits, these protected our skin from the atmosphere of Mars.
Everything appeared to be fine, we sat in the observation deck for a while eating packets of food. The desert-like land sprawled in front of us like a sea.
"Nothing much to see," Val sucked down one of the packages.
"There's never much to see hun," I chuckled. The view never changed. This time was different though. In the distance, my eyes caught a shape moving closer to us. "Vel! Do you see that?" He had the eyes of a bat, so the night was nothing for him to cut through.
"What?" I pointed off to the left. It appeared to be getting closer and closer.
"That! What is running towards us?!" He stood up and moved closer to the window.
"Ryn...that's life...." He took a step back, "And at the rate it's moving towards us, I don't think it's friendly," The air around us went silent. The observation deck was higher, but everything we needed was on the lower levels, and if it busted through the door before we got helmets on...
"Val, we need to get the gear!" I took off running, he followed shortly behind me. My tail and ponytail flowed behind me as I ran. Before we turned into the dressing quarters, I hit the panic button on the wall. It would give us an extra layer of defense. As we started getting into our suits, a bang shook the station.
It was time.
We rushed, checking to make sure both of us were zipped up and fastened. No creature would matter if our suits were not set up correctly.
"Ryn, we need to get weapons," Red lights flashed as the siren blared through the hallways. We were under attack! We made that our next stop. The floors shook, the air sucked us back. It was in.
"Val hurry!" Our boots fastened to surfaces, so moving forward was difficult but not impossible. You could hear the creature rummaging and screeching through the lower halls of the station. It must have been calling out to the others. The sounds of footsteps began to multiply rapidly.
"We're being overrun. We need to get to the back of the station to the emergency pods!"
"Ryn, I love you. This isn't how I'd like to die," I loaded a gun as he finished filling a bag with the armory.
"We aren't dying on Mars," I took a deep breath, looking back at Val and taking in his every marking and detail. I would live for him. We will live because our life together is not over. I opened the doors and we set out. The back of the station was not far from where we were, but the place was swarming with these creatures. I looked over the railing to see two of them fighting over a box of our food they must have found. The claws and teeth on them were sharp and dangerous looking, "Just keep moving and stay quiet," I whispered back at Val, who looked panicked after witnessing them below. I grabbed his hand and led him forward with me. Nothing was going to happen to us.
It was a long and quiet walk it seemed, but we finally made it to the hallway for the pods. As we turned the corner, two of the creatures were scratching and banging at the door to the emergency pods.
"What do we do?" I looked at Val, holding my gun up.
"I have to kill them. You have to push that button to open the door, and we have to get to that pod as quickly as we can. Those creatures are going to race this way to the noise Val. We have to get gone before that happens. Do you understand?" There was no time for fear in this situation. He shook his head.
"We're going home?"
"We're going home, Val!" He smiled at me and was ready to go. He grabbed his gun from his bag, and we turned the corner together.
Everything happened so quickly. Adrenaline coursed through us. The creatures ran at us but weren't ready for Earth metal. They bled a black goo. I rushed to take a sample of the blood and their tissues as Val opened the door.
"Come on!" He started getting a pod ready for our evacuation. The heavy steps of claws raced towards us. Just before we both shot off, right as the door sealed closed, the room flooded with a herd of creatures. Some of them even started eating at the corpses of their dead kin. We shot off into space. The station below us had them crawling over it from roof to ground. If we had never checked anything out we would have still been in that room. We probably would have died in that room.
"Are you okay?" I turned to Val, pulling him close to me.
"Yeah, I'm retiring after this. Dead ass," I laughed.
"I think that's an amazing idea after all of this," We both laid back and got cozy. It was a spacious pod for two people, and we had a journey ahead of us. Luckily it had food and radio communications.
