I've been given a bird.
Why? I wouldn't know how to go about taking care of it.
My mother says it's to teach me responsibility, my grandmother says it's to keep me company on my lonely days.
As I lay and ponder I suddenly remember I must feed it
Poor creature, you should have been given to someone who would take the best care of you, who would love you endlessly.
