There was a legend about an old wishing well from the 1900's believed to be haunted. The story is such that the girl used this spot as her happy place, where she can sit, draw, read, sing, write, and nobody would bother her. She was playing with the bucket one day, and found a gold coin at the bottom. She grabbed it, and brought it back to her parents. Only fate knows how fatal a mistake it was. Mostly because her parents took the coin and locked her away, but she still managed to get out, and ran away with nothing but her diary, a loaf of bread and a jar of milk.

She would stay there for days, and nobody knows whether she noticed the foliage taking back its territory from the man-made structure, or just didn't care.

There are many rumors, and variations of this tale. Some say she became despondent without her parents, (She was rather young), or she was skipping and fell, but I assure you, neither of those were the case. This story is the true tellings of what happened to Lilian Baker, the little girl who haunts the very same well she loved so dearly.

Something called to her from the darkness of the well. Not knowing any better, she lowered her self with the bucket she had used. She found treasures beyond her wildest dreams. But before she could get back out, the rope snapped, and she fell and hit her head, snapping her neck. What called to her is unknown to this day, but whatever it was, it was strong enough to lure a little girl no more than eight years old. Be careful of that old well, for it possesses something far more powerful than anything we've ever seen, or dealt with.
